Study On The Womenswear Design Inspired By Aesthetic Layouts Of The Patchwork

With the appearance of craftsman and the rise of concept on craftsmanship,people begin to look back the charm of traditional handicrafts,as well as craftsman’s conscientious attitude,which convey a quiet and simple living status and,emphasize the necessity of developing individual nature firstly,forming unique personality,and then achieving the first-class technique.Compared with the judgments on life and values that are lacked in modern people living in fast pace of life and surrounding by secularity and reputation,a sharp contrast is shown.As we all know,"clothing,food,housing and transportation" are the basic necessities of people’s life.Among them,"clothing"comes in first,which indicates its importance.China is one of the birthplaces of textiles.The ancient oriental silk also reflects the human civilization.The long-known needlework craft in China is an important means for creating this typical folk culture with oriental charm.Patchwork clothing,one kind of Chinese needlework culture,has long history and wide range of applications,is the result of the integration of multi-ethnic arts and crafts.Patchwork clothing is a good product that integrates craftsmanship spirit,humanistic connotation and traditional thrift virtues,which attracts more and more people’s attention and gains their affirmation,and causes a boom of recovering the ancient crafts.It can be said that,just like repairing artifacts,insistent work on protecting and inheriting the traditional needlework craft is also innovation in another way.At present,however,most people know quitting introduced from western country,instead of Patchwork culture.Therefore,how to explore the traditional culture to create "China-style quitting" with national features,and to reserve Patchwork clothing in the form of "living" in the modern society becomes worthwhile exploring question.Starting from clothing culture,this paper,by combing the study on the origins and development of Patchwork clothing,discussing the history of and concept definition on traditional Patchwork clothing,and figuring out the relevance and difference between Patchwork and quitting,summarizes the China’s traditional Patchwork form.On the other hand,from the perspective of aesthetic art,this paper,based on the modern aesthetic value standards,and combined with multiple disciplines such as sociology,culture and folklore,evaluates the artistic charm,specifically including varied attraction in form,unique charm in colors and texture beauty with rich materials,and sums up the inheritedness of design philosophy,the diversity of design elements and the randomness of the design method.At the same time,aiming at the existing Patchwork form,it starts a survey,attempting to analyze the reasons that the Patchwork art is inherited so long,discusses the way that can reflects the charm of Patchwork in form on the concept of environmental-friendly clothing and individual emotional satisfaction,and bran-new changes brought by it on the traditional design methods and the original concept on clothing consumption and inspiration,and leads the design of modern women’s wear in the fabric,structure and thought to achieve the fusion of various styles.In this way,it can start an innovative research to find the most suitable modern interpretation mode for Patchwork,so that it can meet the trend of the times without any loss of traditional essence,and be popular among the public once again to achieve the purpose of applying research result in practice.
