As a combine product of computer science and foundry technology,the technology of casting simulation changes the traditional mode improving process by experience from trial and error.The technology not only reduces the waste in casting process,and also shortens the production cycle,which marks the casting industry into a new stage.However,there are a lot of deficiencies in the current casting simulation software system,the system based on local is not access to network and uses a single node for simulation calculation.This parper presents and implements a new casting CAE cloud platform based on Docker.The new cloud platform is access to website and the casting simulation software in the backend can deploy on distributed computing nodes.Firstly,based on the general model of cloud platform technology,the solution of casting CAE cloud platform based on Docker is put forward,and the overall design of cloud platform is carried out.At the same time,the overall work flow of the cast CAE cloud platform is analyzed from the macroscopic angle.Secondly,the design and implementation of the cloud platform is introduced.Based on the existing simulation software system,the design scheme of the simulation system in the cloud platform is put forward.Using Docker Swarm technology to build a distributed deployment of the simulation system simulation cluster.Proposed the concept of casting CAE software registry,which achieves and manages the casting simulation softwares.Then,using the Spring-Boot framework,a Web-based management system was developed to call the casting simulation system through the website called management system.Finally,example testing and performance testing is done with the cloud platform.The result of example testing show that the cloud platform can accomplish the simulation service created on the management system very well,and the performance test results show that the computing performance of Docker container compared to the performance of the host computing has not been greatly affected.Since the casting CAE cloud platform based on Docker can use the web side to interact,the casting simulation service is easy to access.With the power of cloud computing,it can also improve the efficiency of casting simulation calculate.In summary,the casting CAE cloud platform based on Docker has a great value of practice and research.
