Study On The Factors Of Willingness To Participate And Pro-environmental Behavior Of Residents In Semi-arid Area Of Influence

Environment is the most fundamental guarantee for human survival.Since the “Kyoto Protocol”(1997)reached the“Paris Climate Agreement”(2015),the concept and practice of sustainable development have reached a peak,and environmental issues have become the world and all humanity.The focus of attention is also the current hot spot of the Chinese government.Environmental protection not only needs to rely on the government,but also requires extensive public participation.Therefore,residents ' environmental protection behavior is the fundamental guarantee for the success of ecological civilization construction.However,public participation in China is often neglected.The performance in the semi-arid area is particularly significant.The participation of residents in environmental protection is still insufficient.In order to explore the influencing factors of public participation in environmental protection in semi-arid areas,the main influencing factors and the underlying mechanism of residents' environmental behaviors are clarified.Therefore,it provides a decision-making reference for the construction of ecological civilization in semi-arid regions of China.It has important theoretical value and practical significance.Therefore,it is necessary to study the influencing factors of residents' willingness and behavior in participating in environmental protection.Therefore,we should focus on the issue of environmental protection.The core of the solution lies in environmental education.Through environmental education,we can improve the public's environmental literacy,so as to achieve broad public participation in public environmental protection,achieve common protection of the public environment,and share ecological results with the people.This paper takes Yanchi County of Ningxia as an example,and based on 213 survey data of residents,first of all,descriptive statistics will include the demographic variables such as gender,age,education level,income,occupation and environment,etc.,and residents 'willingness to participate in environmental protection.Cross-analysis shows that gender has no significant impact on residents' willingness to participate in environmental protection;older people have stronger willingness to participate in environmental protection than young people;higher education levels and higher incomes will increase the willingness to participate in environmental protection;It will also have a positive impact on residents' environmental protection participation to a certain extent.Environmental cognition,role model effects,government behavior evaluation,social media,environmental conditions and other factors will affect residents' willingness to participate in environmental protection to a certain extent.Secondly,based on the theory of public participation and external,according to the research database,a multiple linear regression model was established to empirically analyze the effects of environmental cognition,model effects,willingness to participate,and other factors on residents' environmental behavior.Based on the above analysis,the conclusions of this study are : First,in environmental perceptions,the theoretical understanding of the two mountains has a positive impact on residents' environmental protection behavior,that is,residents' awareness of the concept of national ecological protection development can promote their environmental protection behavior.Second,in the model effect,labor models have a positive impact on residents' environmental protection behavior.The exemplary role of labor models can significantly stimulate residents' environmental behavior.Third,environmental sensitivity,government behavior assessment,social media,environmental conditions,education level,and occupation are also important factors in promoting residents' environmental behavior.Environmental behavior of residents is one of the effective measures for environmental protection and plays an important role in the environmental protection of the entire society.This study found that the implementation of environmental protection behavior of residents in semi-arid areas is not high,but there is still room for improvement.In the research on the influencing factors of environmental behavior of residents,environmental awareness,role model effects,environmental sensitivity,government behavior evaluation,social media,and environmental conditions all have a positive effect on residents' environmental behavior.In environmental awareness,residents ' understanding of the two mountains theory has significantly promoted their environmental protection behavior.“Green Mountain is Jinshan and Yinshan” is the concept of sustainable development proposed by the 18 th National Congress of the People's Republic of China.The concept of residents has an awareness of their environmental behavior.Actively guide the role.Therefore,local governments and relevant departments can carry out various forms of environmental education,enhance the residents' level of environmental awareness,and have important significance in promoting their environmental behavior.In the model effect,the model of labor as a representative of advanced figures has a clear exemplary role.From this point onwards,it is possible to select a model that is closer to the people and more credible from the grassroots level in order to increase the number of role models,and to give full play to the role model role models by raising the role of role models.As the importance of the environment becomes more prominent,the residents' environmental sensitivity and evaluation of the government's environmental protection behaviors have stimulated the residents' environmental behavior.Social media,as a medium for information reception and dissemination,has a significant positive impact on residents' environmental protection behavior.Environmental conditions also promote residents' environmental protection behavior.
