Analysis Of Rural Residents' Willingness To Participate In Rural Environmental Protection In Ruyuan County

In recent years,with the development and progress of our country's economy and society,the problem of rural environmental pollution has become increasingly prominent,and further become one of the important factors hindering the development of rural social economy and building a new socialist modernization countryside.By looking up the research results of rural environmental pollution,it is found that the weak awareness of environmental protection and low willingness to participate in rural environmental governance are one of the important reasons.Rural environmental pollution control,not only need the support of policies,laws and regulations,as the main body of environmental pollution,is an important part of the governance of rural environment.Improving rural residents' awareness and willingness to participate in environmental protection is of great significance to the governance of rural environment.This paper mainly aims at the study of rural residents' awareness of environmental protection and their willingness to participate in Shaoguan Ruyuan County.On the basis of summing up predecessors' research methods and drawing lessons from advanced research results at home and abroad,this paper combs the research and development of rural residents' awareness of environmental protection,public goods and public participation.Based on the theory of environmental value,peasant behavior and social responsibility,this paper takes Ruyuan rural residents as the specific research object,analyzes the status quo and existing problems of Ruyuan rural residents' awareness of environmental protection and their willingness to participate through questionnaire survey and field visits.Eleven variables were selected to analyze rural residents' willingness to participate in environmental protection activities in Ruyuan County by using binary logistic regression model.Finally,it was concluded that educational level,environmental protection awareness and people's enthusiasm to destroy the environment had a positive impact on rural residents' willingness to participate in environmental protection.Accordingto the results of the questionnaire and empirical analysis,this paper puts forward four aspects to improve the awareness and willingness of rural residents to participate in environmental protection: first,to create a good environment education atmosphere to enhance rural residents' knowledge of environmental protection;second,to complete the rural environmental infrastructure and improve the villagers' disposal of the environment.The ability to change;the third is to increase the publicity of environmental protection in rural areas,improve the awareness of environmental protection of rural residents;the fourth is to strengthen public participation,enhance the sense of social responsibility of rural residents.
