Research On Development Strategy Of Cement Business Plate In BBMG Corporation

The profit level of China's cement industry has reached a peak of 102 billion yuan in 2011,then has a significant decline due to the weak demand and pollution in the following years.At the same time,the government increased the macro control of overcapacity industry and polluting industries,including cement,iron and steel,electrolytic aluminum and so on.Cement industry,as a highly polluting industry,has become increasingly difficult under the pressures of excess supply,sluggish demand and policy.However,some leading cement enterprises,including BBMG,have changed the market threat to the market opportunity,and they have achieved great-leap-forward development.From the perspective of theoretical analysis,this paper makes a detail analysis of the external environment of BBMG with PEST and Michael Porter five forces model,and then makes a systematic exposition of the internal environment of the enterprise with the value chain model and the VRIO model.Finally,combined with the analysis results of the internal and external environment of BBMG,the SWOT model is used to analyze its past strategy and future strategic decision.It is concluded that the SO strategy is the suitable strategy for BBMG's current development.This paper provides the development guidelines for cement business plate of BBMG corporation,points out the direction of the strategy,and provides a reference for the strategic management of similar enterprises.
