In order to reduce the preparation cost of the support body,luochuan loess was used as the base material to prepare loess-based ceramic membrane support by extrusion molding and solid particle sintering,and its properties were characterized.The effects of pug aging time,drying time of support biscuit,sintering temperature,heating rate and holding time on the properties of support were investigated respectively,and the drying and sintering systems were further discussed.The support was characterized by thermal gravity analysis-differential thermal gravity,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope and a self-made device.The experimental results show that:(1)The aging time of pug is 48 hours.At this time,the water distribution of pug is uniform and plasticity is good.(2)The drying system of the support biscuit is as follows: the formed biscuit is placed in an incubator at 25?,the humidity is controlled to be about 30% RH,and the surface of the biscuit is covered with thin gauze and then dries for 48 hours.The surface of the support biscuit is smooth,dry and crack-free.(3)The sintering temperature of loess-based ceramic membrane support is 1140?.(4)The heating rates of the loess-based ceramic membrane support are obtained as follows: The first stage support is heated at 2?/min;The second stage support is heated at 2?/min;The third stage support is heated at 1?/min;(5)The holding time of the loess-based ceramic membrane support is obtained as follows: In the first stage,the support is kept at 300? for 120 min;In the second stage,the support is kept at 800? for 120 min;In the third stage,the support is kept at 1140? for 180 min.(6)The sintering system of loess-based ceramic membrane support is obtained as follows: The support is heated at 2?/min in the first stage(20?~300?)and maintained at 300? for 120 min;The support is heated at 2?/min in the second stage(300?~800?)and maintained at 800? for 120 min;The support is heated at 1?/min in the third stage(800?~1140?)and maintained at 1140? for 180 min.
