The cotton fiber short pile rate is an important technical index for evaluating cotton quality grade.Rapid sample preparation before measurement is a key process.At present,the domestic and international sample preparation methods have low work efficiency and too much damage to the fiber,which makes the increase of the short pile rate not satisfy the test.Claim.Under this circumstance,this paper proposes a high-efficiency,low-damage sample preparation process and its equipment development.This paper mainly completed the following research contents from the perspective of engineering application:Rapid sample preparation involves two processes of opening and stretching.Opening is the premise,and drafting is the key.Firstly,a new scheme is proposed for the analysis of the cotton fiber opening process.According to the airflow,the coupling force between the fibers can be weakened to propose a combination of airflow and roller.The experimental method is used to verify that the airflow meets the rapid opening of the cotton to the fluffy cotton sheet,and according to the technical requirement of 2.5g cotton fiber opening time of less than one minute,a new airflow opening device is designed by modular thinking.According to the principle of Rolla drafting,find out the relevant factors affecting the sample preparation for theoretical calculation,and then develop a reasonable set of process parameters and design schemes.Using the four-stage roller three-stage drafting principle,the drafting device with adjustable roller spacing was developed.The problem of winding roller was found through the prototype experiment.Based on the prototype,the principle of apron drawing was improved,and finally 2.5g was realized.The cotton boll is quickly drawn into a smooth strip with a length of 200 mm and a width of 50 mm.It takes about 2.5 minutes to improve the sample preparation efficiency by more than 10 times,and the short fiber damage is about 1% negligible,in line with the national standard cotton sample.Based on the principle of airflow opening and roller drawing,this paper develops a cotton fiber rapid sample preparation device by electromechanical integration.Through the prototype performance test,the automatic opening and rapid non-destructive sample preparation of cotton to cotton can be realized.Shortening the cotton fiber short pile rate and large batch detection cycle has important engineering practical significance.
