Study On Residents' Haze Risk Cognition And Counterm Easures

Haze refers to the phenomenon of general turbidity in the air where visibility is less than10 km.Hazy problem not only has a particularly serious impact on the physical and mental health,work and life of residents in our country,but also causes residents to feel anxious about their own living environment and their happiness index will be reduced,which has become a problem that needs to be solved urgently.The current research on haze mainly focuses on the causes of haze,early warning systems,prevention and control methods.Research on residents' haze risk perception and coping mechanism all still at the initial stage.Studying the residents' perception of haze risk and their coping behaviors can provide a basis for the construction of haze coping mechanism,which has extremely important theoretical and practical significance.From the perspective of sociological theory,this study summarized the theoretical basis of risk and risk cognition using the documentary analysis.Using the risk society theory as a starting point,it further explored the concepts related to haze and risk perception,the risk cognition has undergone a series of operations,which divided into four aspects: haze risk events,the source of risk,risk consequences and risk responsibility cognition.In the study,a sample survey method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey of 360 residents in X County,and all of the collected data was analyzed by the SPSS database.Variance and multiple regression were used to analyze the data and the following results were obtained:(1)The residents of X County have more than 50% awareness of smog risk events,but nearly one third of the residents are still not familiar with it;the cognition of smog risk sources can reach three-fold.Second,there is a high degree of cognition;the degree ofawareness of the haze risk consequences is 70.0%,indicating that residents gradually recognize the hazards of haze problems;from the perspective of haze risk responsibility perception,residents of the government,corporate responsibility.The scores are higher than4.2 points,indicating that residents have recognized the importance of the government and the company's response to smog problems,while the ratings for the environmental protection organizations and the media are only about 3.5 points,indicating that residents have not yet realized the importance of environmental organizations and the effect from social media.(2)The age,marital status,education level,political outlook,occupational status,and income status all have significant impact on haze risk events,risk sources,and risk consequences perceptions in terms of individual characteristics affecting residents' perception of haze risk.The impact of gender on the perception of haze risk is less pronounced.(3)From the impact of subjective value factors on residents' perception of haze risk,the correlation between personal emotion and haze risk perception is particularly significant.The higher the degree of attention of residents on smog problems,the higher awareness of smog risk;the correlation between life experience and climatic risk perception of residents is particularly strong,and the deeper the influence of residents on haze problems The relative risk of haze is also higher.(4)Social and environmental factors: Government policies,corporate behaviors,media communications,and activities of environmental protection organizations all influence residents' perception of haze risk to varying degrees.(5)From the residents' response to the risk of haze,residents of County X have a higher willingness to practice low-carbon life,which can reach 79.8%,and they can also achieve 63%in the payment of expenses to support environmental protection.Judging from the residents' choices in response to haze,most residents choose to reduce their driving and take a low-carbon lifestyle to deal with smog problems.In order to enhance the residents' awareness of haze risk and strengthen residents' awareness of haze risk prevention,this study proposes some countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of government action,social interaction,and residents' interactions,thusresearch is of theoretical and practical significance.
