With the development of modern industry,the requirement of precision machining is becoming higher and higher.Magnetic abrasive finishing machining technology is one of the important processing methods of high precision surface machining.Magnetic abrasive is an important factor which affects the effect of finishing and restricts the industrial application of magnetic abrasive technology.To obtain high quality magnetic abrasive with long service life by using the chemical composite plating method.At present the design and using of magnetic abrasive chemical composite plating device is mostly used for workpiece surface modification,the entire process should be carried out by the artificial control and adjustment.The design of composite plating device for preparing small diameter magnetic abrasive is less.In this paper,the design of the magnetic abrasive chemical composite plating equipment which is suitable for the preparation of small particle size magnetic abrasive can be controlled automatically.Dispersed the ferromagnetic phase and particle phase with the method of mesh bags and flushing liquid.Based on the optimization design of the key parameters of the working area of the device by using CFD method,designed the structure of the device.The main research work and conclusions are as follow:(1)With the demand on the performance of the device designed the magnetic abrasive chemical composite plating device including the working area and the auxiliary area,according to the second phase code position mechanism of plating process,preparing the magnetic abrasive by using a net.The net hood is designed as a circular cylinder structure,and carried out in a horizontal direction which rolled the ferromagnetic phase under the inertia effect.At the same time,making the abrasive phase being dispersed and suspended by designing the spherical bottom chemical plating bath and using the action of the flushing.(2)Optimized design on magnetic abrasive chemical composite plating equipment work area key parameters by using the CFD method.Establishing the finite element simulation three-dimensional fluid-structure coupling model of key parts,with every important time point of particles in the process of the whereabouts of the node of decentralized state,the size of the particle statistics area and the total number of particles change in the area as evaluation standard.The optimal parameters of each influencing factor were determined as:the chemical plating tank radius R=55mm,the amount of the plating liquid L=R=55mm,the washing liquid distance h=6mm,the pipe inner diameter 0=8mm,and the flow rate Q=8L/min.According to relevant data using the optimal parameter combination of the related parameters of ring net as follows:the inner diameter of the ring net r1=16mm,outside diameter r2=36mm,height s=26mm,45mm above the plating tank at the bottom of the center.(3)According to the established magnetic abrasive chemical composite plating device key parameter to work area,the workbench as substrate to design the device structure.The stepping motor is the power source of the device and connected with the controller to realize automatic control.The ring net is rotated by the transmission system.The flushing system,which is controlled by the water pump,reaches the chemical plating bath,which can be used to disperse and suspend the abrasive particles.
