Faced with the shortage of water resources and water pollution in China's current environmental status,many kinds of new water treatment technologies and equipment persistent to be invented and applied to wastewater treatment field in the context of the sustainable development of society as a general trend.Therefore,it becomes important to select appropriate methods to evaluate the wastewater treatment technology and process.By analyzing the current situation and future development trend of technology,we can select the appropriate technology for the enterprise and provide alternative research directions for the researcher.Through the evaluation of different technologies can further provide a scientific basis for the improvement and choice of technology.Patent contains a large number of information about legal,economic and technical,therefore,first of all,in this paper,we conducted a theoretical study of the patent information analysis including definition,content,methods,especially the application in the technical field.Then,we measured the patent literature of sewage treatment technology,and the contribution of the country,the trend of the patent publication and research hotspots were analyzed.In addition,referring to the S curve evolution rule in TRIZ theory,Loglet Lab 4 software was used to fit the number of patents on physical,chemical and biological treatment technologies related to wastewater treatment,so as to judge the current stages and predict the development trend of technologies.Life cycle assessment is an important environmental management tool that plays an important role in the decision-making process.However,profitability is the ultimate goal of the enterprise,so,only environmental assessment cannot be used as the ultimate basis for enterprise decision-making.Therefore,economic factors and environmental impact need to be combined.Based on life cycle theory,this paper integrates life cycle assessment and life cycle cost to get the integrated results contains environmental and economic factors.First of all,we summarized the definition and development history of LCA and LCC,and elaborated on their technical framework and analysis methods in detail.Then,based on the necessity and difficulty of integration of LCA and LCC,we put forward the frame of integrated analysis and all indicators of comprehensive impact.The analytic hierarchy process is also used to determine the weight of each index.Finally,we took the treatment processes of two WWTPs with oxidation ditch process and SBR process in Tianjin as examples to conducted a patent information analysis of these two process.And the environment,cost and energy factors of these two different technological processes were analyzed and compared through the integrated method and the results can provide scientific basis for the improvement and choice of techniques.
