There are numerous amount of working uniform urging to be cleaned on the offshore oil-drilling rig in a daily bases.Despite the shortage of fresh water due to the offshore condition,various kinds of oil stain which source from the crude oil,drilling lubricant,and engine oil,make the process of cleansing much more difficult.Therefore,it is urgent to develop a new prototype detergent so that it aims to be easily dissolvable,less bubbling and more effective cleaning.Meanwhile,the research also develops a term of mechanics which enables detergent to be automatically added in order to saving the valuable resources in the principle of “Lean-Management” in the offshore environment.The new prototype is made of isomeric tridecyl alcohol polyoxyethylene(10)ether,phthalic anhydride,natrium hydroxydatum.Throughout the chemical reaction of esterification and neutralization,the new substance is synthesized as Isomeric Polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phthalate monoester two formic acid sodium salt(IAES).Such synthesis has both anionic surfactant and nonionic surfactant which acts as the amphoteric surfactant.By doing the literature reviewing and beta testing every possible steps toward the synthetic reaction,under different circumstance such as various esterificating temperature and catalytic agents,the necessary steps may take: 1)esterification,which firstly requires phthalic anhydride,then adding the isomeric tridecyl alcohol polyoxyethylene(10)ether intermittently,lastly,adding natrium hydroxydatum for synthetic reaction.2)the proper ratio of producing the optimal result for esterification is 1:1.1 which is isomeric tridecyl alcohol polyoxyethylene(10)ether Versus phthalic anhydride,reacting time is set off 4 hours,and temperature is 95?.In addition,the mass amount of catalyst adding,Methyl benzene sulfonic acid,is 0.15%.The esterification can produce the best result.3)The best reacting condition for synthesization is time off 30 min,temperature 70?,and concentration of natrium hydroxydatum is 40%.The likelihood of the surfactant should perform with the characteristics of well-presented humidity,nice emulsification,powerful dissolvability and abundant bubbles.By undertaking further orthogonal experimental research,the bubbling,moistening,and cleasening capability of the synthetic compounds has been examined many times in order to develop the best portion of these three chemicals mentioned above.By incorporating with edathamil disodium,Sodium polyacrylate,polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)and floral and fruity fragrant content,the prototype detergent is developed.The ingredients are: IAES 16%,SAS 15%,SL 3%,edathamil disodium 2%,Polyacrylic acid sodium salt 1%,PVP 2%,fragrant content 0.1%-0.2%,de-ionic watered.The new prototype is specialized in cleaning the oil stain,less bubbling,low profile of precipitation and moderate agitation.When applying this new prototype on the rig and cooperating with the improved water-recycling system and detergents distributing system,it can resolve the fresh water usage issues,labour costs,and unscientific adding method.The purpose of Lean Management can be fulfilled.The data indicates that the water saving can achieve 47% lessened than the past,the detergent usage can achieve 25.8%.Comparing the new prototype from other homogeneities,the new formulas is capable of greater greasiness-detergent and less bubbling.This formula can be deliberately applied on offshore oil-rigs,far-water vessels,and onshore oil-refinery and many other working environments concerned with every degree of greasiness pollution.The product applied with the new formula is designate to be environment-friendly,green-gas-friendly,and more economized.
