Microemulsion,which posseses strong wettability,emulsification,spreadability and permeability,has a very wide range of applications in food industry,cosmetics,detergents industry and so on.Especially in the detergent,it can quickly and effectively penetrate into the solid surface and the fabric pores to emulsify and clean the dirt,which makes better washing effect than that of ordinary liquid detergent,and that the microemulsion is thennodynamical stablilization system,which can be stored in a long time,this is the basis for the application of microemulsion in the detergent.In this article,the formulation and preparation of microemulsion detergent were studied by using excellent surfactant and nontoxic solvent as raw materials.In order to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for further development of microemulsion detergents.1.The emulsifying efficiency of medium long chain fatty alcohol was studied by changing the ratio of surfactants;which determined the the basic formula of microemulsion detergent consisting of long chain fatty alcohol(pentanol,hexanol,heptanol and octanol)as oil phase and sodium dodecyl sulfate,isomeric fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether as surfactant.By drawing pseudoternary phase diagrams of SDS-IC13O6/medium long chain fatty alcohol/1-butanol/water system,the effects of surfactant ratio,co-surfactant and oil phase on phase behavior were investigated.The detergency of the samples were investigated by using water as the washing medium and the standard soiled cloth as washing object.Then,select the microemulsion detergent formula with high performance.2.The structure of microemulsion was studied using the conductivity meter to measurethe conductivity of microemulsion with changing of water content.The wetting and spreading properties of the microemulsion were investigated by the dynamic surface tension meter and dynamic contact angle measuring instrument to measure the dynamic surface tension curves and contact angle on the paraffin membrane varying with time of microemulsion with different dilution multiple.The results indicated that,with the increase of water content,the microemulsion is changed from W/O type to double continuous structure,and then converted into O/W type,which makes the diluted microemulsion has good wetting and spreading properties3.The pseudotemary phase diagram of W/O microemulsion was drawn by using the mixture of nonionic surfactants(AEO3 and ICi3O6)and medium long chain fatty alcohol as the oil phase,and the appropriate ratio of surfactant was selected.The optimum system was selected using tetrachloroethylene as a reference through the detergency test.The Wettability and spreadability of microemulsion detergent was studed by using the dynamic contact angle instrument.The results showed that the microemulsion had good cleaning ability to oil pollution,and the equilibrium contact angle of microemulsion detergent was lower than tetrachloroethylene.Microemulsion detergent has better spreadability and solubilization capacity to oil stain than tetrachloroethylene.This kind of detergent is expected to provide technical support for the non-aqueous cleaning industry.
