In the cutting process,surface textured tools which are designed can effectively decrease cutting force and cutting temperature,improve the anti-adhesion and anti-friction,increasing tool life,which has been basically verified by experiments.Meanwhile,as a kind of wetting differential surface,lyophilic/lyophobic textured surface can realize directional control and rapid supply of liquid movement,improving the lubrication condition.In order to further improve tool life,especially for difficult-machining-materials,so a feasible way is put forward by combining surface texture and the regulation of wetting.The polycrystalline diamond(PCD)is selected as tool materials,the cutting tests of Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy were carried out,the influence of lyophilic/lyophobic textured PCD cutting tool on cutting performance,tool wear and adhesion was investigated.The main substances are as follows:(1)Taking polycrystalline diamond as experimental material,the effects of laser processing parameters on the size and morphology of micro/nano texture were studied,and the formation mechanism of morphology was analyzed.The influence of laser processing technology on the size of microgrooves on polished surface and micro/nano textured surface was also studied.The influence of composite texture parameters on tool strength was obtained by finite element simulation,and the optimal geometric and layout parameters of the texture were selected for the next experiments.(2)Low surface energy treatment was used on the micro/nano textured cutting tools,preparing the lyophobic layer.Then part lyophobic layer materials were removed by laser processing,forming micro groove structure with lyophilic properties.Combined with laser processing parameters and the preferred structural parameters from Chapter 2,resulting in the fabrication of lyophilic/lyophobic textured PCD cutting tool.Electrostatic atomization device was set up to verify the control of droplet.(3)The cutting tests of Ti6Al4 V titanium alloy were carried out,comparing the effect of the non-textured tool,micro-grooved tool and lyophilic/lyophobic textured tool under minimal quantity lubrication on cutting force and average friction coefficient.The wear and adhesion on the rake face were also observed to analyze the effect of anti-friction of lyophilic/lyophobic textured tools.
