As an important form of transportation,inland waterway transport has a unique advantage in protecting the environment and promoting economic development.However,with the increase of the number of inland vessels,the increasing density of navigation and the complexity and particularity of the inland waterway environment,the collision occurred frequently during inland vessels.In recent years,with the rapid development of ship automation and intelligence,the key technologies,such as information sensing technology,state detection technology,communication navigation technology,distress early warning and rescue technology and autonomous navigation technology,have been applied in the field of ship collision avoidance.The “smart ship standards” which was put into effect in 2016 make the research of ship automatic collision avoidance become a new hot spot.In order to further promote the intelligent and automatic development of ships,and improve the safety of inland waterway,it is necessary to strengthen the research on collision warning and collision avoidance of inland ship collision accident.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:Firstly,respectively introduce radar and GIS system's development status,working principle and development style,and with the application of combining GIS system and radar system in ship collision avoidance simulation system,the radar data display,filtering and clustering processing based on Google Earth are realized.Secondly,analyse the causes of the collision accidents of inland vessels,and consider four aspects of the crew,the ship,the natural environment and the navigation environment,a comprehensive evaluation model of the collision risk of inland vessels is established in accordance with the characteristics of the characteristics of inland waterway.Application of analytic hierarchy process to determine the weights of evaluation indexes at all levels and grey system theory whitening evaluation results to improve the accuracy of assessment data and the reliability of the model was verified by simulation.Thirdly,analyse the basic principle of ship collision avoidance,use the inland waters collision avoidance rules to make clear the responsibility and avoidance decisions under the different encounter situation.Take the inland vessels as the research object,select three degrees of freedom for MMG separated ship motion model,establish the ship collision avoidance decision mathematical model based on ship motion model and analyse the application of ship motion model in ship collision avoidance system.By comparing the simulation results to verify the importance of ship motion model in the collision avoidance system.Finally,design the ship collision simulation system based on Google Earth and VC++6.0 development environment,achieve the verification and display of ship motion simulation,ship collision risk early warning function and ship collision avoidance decision-making functions.Results show that the system can calculate the collision risk according to the encounter situation of inland vessels,and give warning according to the value of collision risk index,the system put a reasonable collision avoidance decision at the same time,thus provide the foundation for applying theoretical analysis to the real ship experiment in the future.
