The concentration of solid particles in the air is an important factor in the air pollution.Dust is a solid small particle that can be suspended in the air.When the particles accumulate in the industrial environment,the dust particles will not only affect the health of the workers,but also may lead to the occurrence of the explosion.In order to realize the safety monitoring of dust environment in complex industrial environment,the article developed a set of essential safety monitoring Dust Online Monitoring and Early Warning System.On the basis of the extinction method,the system uses fiber grating technology to achieve dust concentration and ambient temperature in the dust at the same time measurement.Firstly,the basic principle of dust concentration detection is introduced.According to the basic principle of transmission method and the principle of fiber grating sensing,a new method of measuring dust concentration based on fiber grating is proposed by combining fiber grating sensing technique and transmission method.This method has obvious advantages.It can be used to realize the safety monitoring of flammable and explosive places by using the advantages of fiber gratings,and can realize the simultaneous monitoring of dust concentration and temperature.Secondly,an experimental platform for measuring the dust concentration and ambient temperature of the fiber grating is proposed.The experimental platform includes Fiber collimator module,fiber grating detection module,computer system,fiber grating demodulation device,transmission fiber and dust collection device.The fiber collimator module is used to detect light attenuation under dust.The fiber grating detection module collects the temperature data,and transmits the optical signal back to the transmission line by the reflection of the grating.The fiber grating demodulation system demodulates the optical signal detected by the sensor and obtains the amount of change of the corresponding parameter.Finally,through a large number of experimental studies of the dust concentration and temperature,the corresponding relationship between the optical power and the dust concentration of the broadband light source is obtained,and the correspondence between the optical center wavelength offset and the temperature is obtained.Through the experimental data processing and analysis,the dust concentration and ambient temperature detection relationship can be obtained.Through the original fiber grating detection device software,the dust concentration and ambient temperature real-time online monitoring software is built up.According to the relevant national standards and the actual needs of the factory,set the dust environment,a variety of dust concentration threshold and temperature warning threshold to achieve the dust environment abnormal timely warning.The system can realize the electrification of all-optical signal detection device while realizing the real-time on-line monitoring and warning of the dust concentration and temperature.By the advantage of the high frequency and anti-jamming characteristics of the fiber grating,it can realize the safety monitoring of the flammable and explosive environment.
