Pulsed MIG Welding(Pulsed Metal Inert Gas Welding)is widely used in welding production due to its advantages of good droplet transfer form,wide adjustment range of welding current,good welding quality and full position Welding.In order to further improve welding production efficiency,improve welding quality and realize welding automation,in recent years,the digital pulsed MIG welding machine,which has been continuously studied by many welding workers at home and abroad,has gradually replaced the traditional analog control pulsed MIG welding machine.Based on the traditional research of pulse MIG welding machine,this paper designs a digital pulsed MIG welding machine based on SCM 80C196 KC control.The digital pulse MIG welding machine designed in this paper consists of main circuit and control circuit.First,the structure and working principle of main circuit and control circuit are introduced.The main circuit is mainly composed of three-phase rectifier filter circuit,inverter circuit,high-frequency transformer and output rectifier filter circuit.The inverter circuit adopts soft switching full-bridge inverter structure.The switching device adopts IGBT with inverter frequency of20 KHZ.The control circuit includes hardware design and software programming of control board.The hardware design of the control board mainly completes the work of parameter presetting and display,sampling circuit,A/D conversion circuit,pulse width modulation circuit design,drive circuit design,wire feeding circuit design and anti-interference measures,etc.80C196 KC single chip microcomputer is selected as the core device of the control circuit.Software programming mainly completes the main program flow chart and programming,parameter preset and display subroutine flow chart and programming,PI control subroutine,interrupt programming and so on.Secondly,the driving circuit and the wire feeding circuit are tested respectively to obtain the driving waveform and the wire feeding waveform.The whole machine is tested and the external characteristic and output pulse wave are measured.Finally,the experiments of direct current MIG welding of carbon steel,pulseMIG welding of carbon steel and pulse MIG welding of aluminum alloy were carried out with 1.2 welding wire.The three kinds of welds were analyzed and compared,and the recommended values of welding parameters were given.The welding aids such as wire feeder and automatic welding trolley were introduced.
