Based on the life cycle theory,this paper builds a carbon footprint evaluation model of chemical building materials.And the application of IPCC formula,the coating product as a research example,calculated the carbon footprint of the life cycle from raw material extraction,transportation to final product packaging.The sensitivity analysis of carbon footprint calculation results,find out the key link and key data of product carbon footprint evaluation.Data quality index method is used to analyze the quality of the primary activity level data and secondary data in the life cycle inventory.According to the evaluation results of carbon footprint,the measures to realize carbon low carbon production and energy saving and emission reduction of chemical building materials are discussed.In this paper,the carbon footprint evaluation model of chemical building materials is composed of three parts:target and scope determination,data collection and carbon footprint calculation and analysis.The evaluation scope of the carbon footprint of textured decorative coatings includes the extraction and transportation of raw materials and the production process of textured decorative coatings.The production process includes the production of textured decorative paint based white paint,texture type decorative paint finished product production stage,finished product testing and packaging storage four stages.In this paper,the selection of 1t texture type decorative paint as a functional unit.Through the calculation,we can know that the production of 1t texture decorative paint product life cycle of carbon footprint is 328.84kgCO2e,which is the highest carbon footprint of white paint production stage,241.96kgCO2e.Through the sensitivity analysis results,we can see that the impact factor of the highest sensitivity of the carbon footprint evaluation is based on the activity level of acrylic emulsion in the production of white paint.The sensitivity coefficient is 0.418.The results of the data quality analysis data show that the quality of primary level data were at a higher level,and the level of data quality secondary data is not very ideal,with acrylic emulsion and thickening agent as the representative of chemical reagents carbon emission coefficient data quality minimum.Based on the results of carbon footprint calculation and analysis,this paper discusses the measures to reduce the carbon emission of textured decorative coatings from three aspects:the use of chemical reagents,the types of electric energy consumption and the transport of raw materials.Chemical reagent,with acrylic emulsion as an example,the sensitivity coefficient of the carbon emission coefficient is 0.413,S company in 2015produced a total of 69262 type texture decorative paint barrels,a total of 2077.86 tons of carbon emissions,if the coefficient of acrylic emulsion S use can reduce 1%,then S type texture decorative coating in carbon emissions can be reduced by 282.2t.Raw material transport,the use of road,rail and water transport 1t quartz sand produced by carbon emissions were 42.2kgCO2e,20.5kgCO2e and 21.5kgCO2e,the best way of railway.
