Gas fields in China are mostly located in hilly terrain areas.Liquid loading in pipeline may cause safety accidents.Studying the influence of topographic ups and downs on the liquid loading in gas pipeline is necessary.Compared two-phase flow formulas,the steady-state liquid loading model is established and the calculation software is made to predict the distribution of effluent in fluctuating pipeline.Simulating liquid loading in?,V,?,?and?pipes to study the effect of angle.When?is 30°60°,the liquid holdup of the?,V,?and?pipes is higher and the liquid volume is more in uphill section.When?is constant,the liquid volume of the?pipe is higher than that of the V and the liquid volume of the?pipe is higher than that of the?.Line selection should avoid?in 30°60°within the V and?hilly terrain.When?is 80°and?2 is 30°,the largest liquid volume of the end of pipe is 0.75 m3.Simulating liquid loading in three different hilly pipes to study the effect of topographic ups and downs.When the length of these pipes is the same and the angle is constant,the liquid holdup of the 500 m at the front and the end of these pipes is almost the same.The liquid volume of V pipe is highest,and the liquid volume of 3V pipe is lowest.Pipe ups and downs change the liquid holdup distribution of middle section.To a certain extent,the more the ups and downs,the lower liquid volume of the pipe.The liquid loading model is used to calculate the pipeline effluent.The result shows that the liquid holdup of the pipeline with the range of 9641725 m reaches nearly 0.3 and the liquid volume increases by 7 m3.From the prevention of effusion,increasing gas-liquid ratio or reducing pipeline pressure can be taken.From the effusion governance,when the pipeline end pressure drops to 7.47 MPa,pigging can be done.
