The foul gas produced by domestic waste not only seriously pollutes the environment,but also seriously affects and even endangers human health.Therefore,it has become a very important research direction to deal with the odor gas produced by domestic waste.Biological washing method to purify the garbage malodorous gas with small secondary pollution,safety and other advantages,is a kind of"green technology".However,it is not ideal for the purification of volatile organic compounds with low solubility in water.In this paper,six kinds of VOCs?C3H9N?CH3SH??CH3?2S?C2H6S2?CS2?C8H8?produced by domestic waste were studied.According to the characteristics and composition of VOCs produced by domestic waste,combined with the basic theory of biological washing method treatment VOCs,Combined Trapezoid Spray Tray?CTST?was applied to the abiological scrubber system,then compared the removal efficiency for garbage VOCs of traditional biological washing system.In the process of mass transfer and absorption in biological washing tower,the purification effect became better with the liquid gas ratio increased,but the project investment cost and operation cost also increased.Based on the analysis of the results,it was concluded that liquid gas ratio control was the best in 7080L/m3.The purification effect became better with longer residence time,but longer residence time required bigger equipment size.Based on the analysis of the results,it was concluded that residence time shouled be controlled in 1520s.The purification effect became better with higher concentration of microorganisms,but it was more likely to cause blockage of the filling layer.Based on the analysis of the results,it was concluded that microbial concentration shouled be controlled in 20002500mg/L.When the operation conditions kept consistent?liquid gas ratio controlled in7080L/m3,time controlled in 1520s and MLSS concentration controlled in20002500mg/L,biological membranes applied in biological membrane method?,CTST's average removal rate of VOCs was 15%20%higher than that of packed tower,so the purification effect of CTST was better.Therefore,the CTST has good prospects for VOCs treatment of domestic waste.In this paper,the effects of activated sludge treatment and biological membrane treatment on the treatment of domestic waste VOCs were compared.It could be conclude that biological membrane had a better treatment for VOCs.
