Black wax gourd is a widely planted vegetable in Guangdong,a cross betweenSanshui ground and Dongguan origin ground by hybridization in the 1970s,has been planted more than40 years.Black wax gourd has high yield,was one of the most important vegetables which regulate the supply of Vegetable market off-season,so Guangdong Black wax gourd was growing cultivation amount and market demand,in addition to satisfying the need of Guangdong,but also exporting to Shandong,Henan,Shanghai,Tianjin,Beijing,Hong Kong,Macao and Southeast Asian countries,favorited by most of consumers.Fully mature Black wax gourd was resistant to storage,low maturity or immature Black wax gourd didin't suit for storage,research on the storage of post-harvest Black wax gourd is also very little,resulting in Black wax gourd loses hugely during storage,transport and sales process,seriously affected the healthy development of Black wax gourd industry.In this paper,the use of Storage with humidicool and Ozone,appropriate analytical techniques and mathematical statistical methods were combined,the storage traits of different maturity postharvest Black wax gourd were researched,The results showed summarized as follows.Ozone can reduce microbes on the skin of Black wax gourd effectly,at a temperature of 13?,humidity at 65-70%,Continued with different concentrations of ozone gas treatment Black wax gourd,at higher concentrations of ozone,sterilization effect is obvious.Using a concentration of 4.28mg/m~3 and 8.56mg/m~3 ozone treatmen can inhibit the degradation of chlorophyll epidermis on the skin of Black wax gourd,while ozone treatment can promote the decomposition of carotenoids,the higher the concentration the more obvious effects.The storage effect of Black Wax Gourd with room temperature,ozone and ultrasonic humidification was reseached.The result showed that there was a best comprehensive storage effect on The Black Wax Gourd picked 60 days after flower,minimum rotting rate and nutrients losing,smooth and inaurate peel,black Wax powderincreasing,without onlypeculiar smell,pulp after 60 days,in room temperature 23??27?,ozone 8.56mg/m~3and humidification RH65%?70%.There was a better storage effect,lowest rotting and dehydration rate,least lose of main nutrient component for Black Wax Gourdtreated by ozone(concentration of 8.56mg/m~3)than that without ozone treatment with storage temperature 12?-14?,RH65%?70%,after storing 60 days.there was a best comprehensive storage effect on the Black Wax Gourd picked 45 days after flower,after 60 days of storage,the decay rate of 4.8%,4.1%weight loss,soluble solid matter content of 2.61%,1.88% total sugar,titratable acid 1.41mg/kg,Vc content was 4.35mg/100g,5.59 hardness,density of 0.91.The Storage condition at the same relative humidity and ozone gas concentration conditions,the characters of Black wax gourd stored at low temperature under 13?is much better than room temperature(23??27?)under storage trait.Stored under the tempeture of 4? can lead to Black wax gourd of different maturity different degrees of cold damage,Black wax gourd 30 days after flower chilling injury most serious occurred in the shortest time.
