Magnetic filter product of cold rolling mill is an industrial waste produced in the thin steel plate production process.It is a high oil black sticky material consisting of rolling oil,water and iron powder.Magnetic filter product was pretreated to get oily iron powder with centrifugal separation to remove most of the rolling oil.Iron nanopowder product with high economic value was got through ultrasonic cleaning,rinsing,vacuum drying from oily iron powder.Iron nanopowder is widely used in high-end technology,military,medicine,magnetic fluid,metallurgy,etc.The surface oil is hard to clean away due to the high surface energy of iron nanopowder,which would be removed through the cooperation of water-base metal detergent and ultrasonic cavitation.However,liqixid waste containing fluorine produced during the recovery process and the.iron nanopowder had reunion phenomenon.Based on the analysis of reunion phenomenon,the main surfactant of detergent and solid-liquid separation method were selected in this paper and the effect of recovery condition on the dispersion property of iron nanopowder product was investigated in addition.The iron content of the iron powder was detected using 1,10-Phenanthro1ine spectrophotometry and dispersion property of iron powder was detected with optical microscope and electron microscope.The mass fraction of water-based metal detergent was PVP 0.6%or APG 0.2%,TX-10 0.7%,AEO-9 0.5%,Na2SiO3 2%,EDTA 0.1%,n-butanol 0.1%and water.The cleaning condition was the ultrasonic frequency 40 kHz,power 150 W,temperature 30? for 4 times of 12 min respectively.The centrifugal separation was 12 min after rinsing.The iron content of the iron nanopowder product was 90.06%with good dispersion effect.Its particle size was 50-100 nm and specific surface area was 17.31 m~2/g.
