With the oil field entering the high water cut mining period,the cost of lifting is too high,affecting the output of oilfield,increasing the energy consumption of the gathering and transportation system,increasing the workload of the ground engineering construction and so on.Using the injection production technique in the same well,the downhole oil-water separation of the production fluid can be carried out simultaneously in water injection and production in the production well,which can effectively improve the problem.In the injection production of the same well,the oil and water mixture with high oil content is mixed with the produced liquid to increase the oil content of the liquid at the separator,which will lead to poor separation.In order to solve the problem,a chimney pipe is installed on the upper and lower passages of the packer by using the chimney principle.Oil and water mixture containing more flow to the recovery pump entrance through the chimney,chimney and water more water mixture under the pipe flow entrance to the separator,so that the two kinds of liquid the pump entrance channel,oil content,oil separator at less,improve the separation effect.In this paper,the chimney effect is numerically simulated,and the results of velocity nephogram,oil and water distribution map and phase cloud image are obtained,and the existence of chimney effect is verified.The chimney effect factors(oil-bearing rate,diameter,chimney pipe flow,etc.)have been tested in the laboratory,and the data and chart analysis,the optimum parameters of chimney.Through the research content of this paper,we can provide guidance for the design of gravity downhole oil-water separation technology,improve the efficiency of oil and water separation,and create better economic benefits.
