Tujia brocade craft,as a kind of precious folk handicraft of China,is the carrier of Tujia national culture,and witnesses the development and changes of Tujia as well.So it deserves high cultural,aesthetic and scientific value.However,the traditional craft of Tujia brocade declines gradually because of the changes of history and regional economic structure as well as the increasingly decrease of inheritors of this crafts.Due to the regional distribution of Tujia brocade and roundedness of inheritance way,the public can only know about Tujia brocade through the pictures,texts and videos,and cannot really experience Tujia brocade entity and technical essence personally,which makes the development and spread of this folk treasures seriously hampered.In order to break the shackles,this paper explores the advanced technologies to promote the learning of traditional craft from the perspective of folk traditional craft inheritance,and combines the Tujia brocade craft protection with digital protection technology.On this basis it designs and implements a set of interactive Tujia brocade virtual weaving system,aiming to help the public to identify the basic process of Tujia brocade and master the basic skills,thus deepen their cognition of Tujia brocade culture,and play a role in educational inherit of Tujia brocades.Firstly,the paper proposes a virtual reconstruction method of Tujia brocade traditional craft.It achieves asynchronous capture of the body movements and hand motion using Kinect and Leap motion,and realizes synchronous composition of them.And then it sets up motion data set of Tujia brocade craft,thus realizes virtual reconstruction of Tujia brocade traditional craft.Then,the paper analyzes the system demands and designs the system framework,after that it divides the system into three main function modules:tool display module?traditional craft display module and virtual weaving module.The paper implements the interactive Tujia brocade virtual weaving system.In the tool display module,it displays the brocade tools and realizes somatosensory control of brocade tools,including rotation and scaling.In the traditional craft display module,it models Tujia role model using basic modeling software,and optimizes it by 3D carving technology,and then drives the role model with motion capture data,realizing virtual reappearance of Tujia brocade traditional craft,after that it displays the 3D animations in the virtual scene.As for the virtual weaving module,it realizes the real-time control of the thoreau?teasing needle and rung through Kinect,so that it can enhance the learners'understanding of Tujia brocade weaving craft.
