In order to study the release of carbonyl compounds in mainstream smoke of Henan flue-cured tobacco and related chemical composition which influenced the release quantity,flue-cured tobacco from 2015 to 2016 in Henan main production regions(Pingdingshan,Luohe,Xuchang,Sanmenxia,Luoyang,Nanyang)was selected as materials.The composition of the carbonyl compounds in mainstream smoke of unblended cigarette and the composition of routine chemical compositions in tobacco leaves has been explored.The correlation between release quantity of carbonyl compounds in mainstream smoke and routine chemical composition in leaves was also studied.The results were as follows:1.Descriptive statwastic analyswas the release of carbonyl compounds in mainstream smoke of Henan flue-cured tobacco:Formaldehyde releases was the range of 80.44?166.42 ?g·cig-1,the average was 112.92 ?g·cig-1;acetaldehyde releases was the range of 356.66?640.51 ?g·cig-1,the average was 500.03 ?g·cig-1;acetone releases was the range of 255.17?388.72 ?g·cig-1,the average was 320.00?g·cig-1;acrylaldehyde releases was the range of 42.02?77.67 ?g·cig-1,the average was 53.37 ?g·cig-1;propionaldehyde releases was the range of 58.17?118.25 ?g·cig-1,the average was 85.69?g·cig-1;crotonaldehyde releases was the range of 15.55?30.98 ?g·cig-1,the average was 23.78 ?g·cig-1;butanone releases was the range of 54.33?90.49 ?g·cig-1,the average was 71.51 ?g·cig-1;butyraldehyde releases was the range of 20.62?36.39 ?g·cig-1,the average was 29.41 ?g·cig-1;the total carbonyl compounds release was the range of 909.42?1462.72 ?g·cig-1,the average was 1196.71 ?g·cig-1.Formaldehyde,acrylaldehyde and crotonaldehyde were of high dwascreteness,and large diversity;acetone and butyraldehyde were of small dwascreteness,and small difference.2.Variance analysis of the release of carbonyl compounds in mainstream smoke of Henan flue-cured tobacco:In different leaf position,the release quantity of formaldehyde,acetaldehyde,acetone,acrylaldehyd,propionaldehyde,crotonaldehyde and butanone was lower leaf>middle leaf>upper leaf,while the release quantity of butyl aldehyde was middle leaf>upper leaf>lower leaf.The release quantity of crotonaldehyde reached highly significant difference levels in different leaf position,while of acetaldehyde and acetone didn t.The release quantity of acrylaldehyde,propionaldehyde,crotonaldehyde and butanone in lower leaf was highly significantly higher than middle and upper leaves,while butyraldehyde did not reached significant difference in different leaf position.In different varieties,The release quantity of Yuyan No.10 and Yuyan No.6 carbonyl compounds was rather low,with total quantity of 1091.99?g·cig-1 and 1138.86 ?g·cig-1 respectively,highly significant lower than Yuyan 87.The release quantity of carbonyl compounds in Yuyan 87 was rather high with the highest quantity of 1340.02 ?g·cig-1.In different main production regions,the total release of carbonyl compounds were Sanmenxia(1255.68 ?g·cig-1)>Luoyang(1240.37 ?g·cig-1)>Xuchang(1208.37 ?g·cig-1)>Luohe(1193.69 ?g·cig-1)>Nanyang(1178.55 ?g·cig-1)>Pingdingshan(1148.44 ?g·cig-1).Sanmenxia and Luoyang was significantly higher than Pingdingshan,other regions did not reach significant difference level.The release quantity of carbonyl compound of Sanmenxia was higher than other regions.The release quantity of carbonyl compounds in unblended cigarette mainstream smoke of main production regions(township)was divided into three types with clustering analysis.The first type was high quantity with the marn production areas including Lushi,Luanchuan,Mianchi,Songxian,Lingbao,Wugang,Chengqu,Yexian,Luoning,Naxiang,Sheqi and Yiyang.The second type was middle quantity with the main production areas of Shanxian,Duqu,Wangmeng,Ruzhou,Chenzhuang,Fangcheng,Yuzhou,Baofeng and Xiangxian.The third type was low quantity with the main production areas of Jiaxian,Wocheng and Lushan.3.The analysis of routine chemical component of Henan flue-cured tobacco:Total sugar content was at the range of 20.55?38.85%,the average was29.42%;reducing sugar content was at the range of 14.58?30.51%,the average was 22.71%;protein content was at the range of 5.61?10.60%,the average was 7.77%;nicotine content was at the range of 1.19?3.97%,the average was 2.38%;total nitrogen content was at the range of 1.08?2.35%,the average was 1.63%;potassium content was at the range of 0.52?2.33%,the average was 1.38%;chlorine content was at the range of 0.09?1.84%,the average was 0.65%.In different leaf positions,the content of total sugar and reducing sugar in the lower leaf was significantly higher than in the upper leaf.The content of protein,total nitrogen,nicotine and potassium in the upper leaf was significantly higher than in the lower leaves,chlorine content was not significantly different among different positions.In different varieties,the content of total sugar,reducing sugar in Yunyan 87,Yuyan No.9 and Zhongyan 203 was higher,while the content of protein and nicotine was lower.There was significant difference between Zhongyan 100 and Zhongyan 101.The total nitrogen content in Yuyan No.6 and Zhongyan 100 was significantly higher than Zhongyan 203 and Yunyan 87.The potassium content in Yuyan No.6 was significantly higher than Yuyan No.9 and Yunyan 87.The chlorine content was rather high in Zhongyan 100,while rather low in Yunyan 87,but did not reach significant difference among different varieties.In different main production regions,the content of total sugar and reducing sugar in Sanmenxia was significantly higher than that of other regions.The content of protein,total nitrogen,potassium and chlorine in Pingdingshan,Luohe and Xuchang was relatively higher.Nicotine content had no significant difference among different regions.4.The correlation analysis of Carbonyl compounds in mainstream smoke with tobacco routine chemical composition:Formaldehyde,acetone,acrolein,propionaldehyde and crotonaldehyde was significantly positively correlated to total sugar and reducing sugar,while significantly negatively correlated to protein and total nitrogen.In addition,formaldehyde,acrolein,acetone and crotonaldehyde had negative correlation with chlorine;acetone,butylaldehyde and nicotine had negative correlation with nicotine;acetaldehyde had significantly positive correlation with potassium and significantly negative correlation with protein,nicotine,total nitrogen and chlorine;butanone had significantly negative correlation with protein,nicotine and total nitrogen;the total release of carbonyl compounds had extremely significant positive correlation with total sugar,reducing sugar and extremely significant negative correlation with protein,nicotine,total nitrogen and chlorine.In stepwise regression analysis,the determination coefficient R2 of acetaldehyde,acrolein,propionaldehyde,crotonaldehyde and total release of carbonyl compounds were greater than 0.64,indicating the great reference value for the fitting equation.
