With the development of the oil industry,oil well drilling technology also will be developed.During oil well drilling process,it is essential for using the weighting agent.However,as the use of high-quality barite weighting agents,its important role is highlighted in the oil drilling work.But the improper use of barite weighting agent will produce a series of adverse effects.Wellbore blockage phenomenon is particularly prominent.Therefore,in order to solve the oil drilling barite clogging problem,a lot of people are hoping to find efficient solutions blocking agent barite through lots of experiments.In this paper,the method and mechanism of barium sulfate chelators in an alkaline environment was elaborately discussed.The chelators used the diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid(DTPA)as the main agent,was produced to dissolve the oil well barite,and investigatied the effect of the salt to the agent.The chelator is produced with DTPA,KOH and inorganic salt,pH is about 13 to dissolve barite.The evaluation indicate that,as the different effect on the viscosity of solution,the efficiency of potassium is better than sodium with the same mass fraction of DTPA.As the inorganic salts' mass fraction increase,the efficiencies of crystallization agent,KF,KCI also increase,crystallization agent shows the best performance to 47.79%at 10%(mass fraction).When the reaction time is 4h,the efficiency of crystallization agent is prece than KF by 10.56%as the reaction area'increase which caused by the barite'caking.When the reaction time is 12h,the efficiency of KF is prece than crystallization agent by 12.39%as the salt effect.The DTPA was synthesized and characterized,and the synthetic solution and compound liquid were compared.The stable configuration and logK of DTPABa3-are simulated by computer.The chelator was used for barite'caking oil wells,The flowback salts are and the precipitations weighted and analyzed by using XRD,barium element was detected,which proves that the chelator is successful and the application is good.
