It has always been an important hot and difficult problem tobe solved in the field of machinery manufacturing of Complex surface of highefficiency, high speed and high precision processing. The common solution is to useNC programming and NC machining technology. This paper mainly discusses theresearch of five-axis linkage NC machining of complex curved surface.NURBS is regarded as a mathematical form of curved surface. This paperresearches the calculation of node vector、the calculation method of basis functionblock matrix and the extension of calculation method of block matrix. And thedifferential of curved surface is analyzed.In complex curved surface NC machining, it has been regarded as a difficult andnecessary problem to solve which is the partial interference of tool, global collisiondetection and correction problem. In this paper, a similar high residual method offive-axis linkage tool path generation is studied, and the cutter attitude control, thecalculation based on local curvature, establish a condition without interference andusing the condition of partial interference inspection and tool correction, in order toavoid the existence of interference problem in the process of cutting tool pathgeneration, finally can get local cutter contact tool path without interference.Five-axis NC machining, the tool cutter location data form given in thedocument of lathe tool position is lathe tool site position vector and cutter axis vector,it must be converted into machine data of each axis movement. Because of thecomplexity of five-axis NC machining and the necessity of post processing program.For NC machine tool of different kinds of motion relationship, its post-processing isdifferent, so it is necessary for different structure of the machine tool to establish theeffective post processing program. This paper is based on DMU80monoBLOCKfive-axis linkage NC machining center, analyses its rear of the machine tool structureand processing method, and based on UG/Post development DMU80monoBLOCKmachine after a dedicated processor.By using VERICUT to establish DMU80monoBLOCK five-axis linkage CNCmachine model, the model of machine is given a NC control system to simulate thewhole process of machining, and verifies the NC program by special post processor.
