Research On The Electromagnetic Radiation Effect Of Base Stations And Protection Measures

As the society is progressing and new communication technology is also developing rapidly,human has entered the information age.In recent years,the mobile communication technology,changed from the third generation to the fourth generation,has also experienced an innovation time.The number of users has been increasing to 1.25bn,according to the statistics from Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology in April,2014.It is no doubt that the base stations are the essential parts of the rapid developing modern society.While the public and social media are also concerned about its negative effect-radiation.In the 1970s,the United Nations Conference and the World Health Organization has listed the electromagnetic radiation as one of the most important environmental protection projects,which has to be deterred.With the widespread electronic products,equipment and computers,people's daily life and work rely heavily on them,the following problem is that the radiation might do harm to their health.From all above,enhancing the base stations'supervision and protection is not only meeting the needs of the public's appeal to safe environment,but also the fast development of mobile communication industries,which would promote a sound and orderly electromagnetic environment in our province.Based on the studies of recent years,this article aims to discuss the electromagnetic radiation effect of the mobile base stations on people,which starts from briefly summarizing the relevant knowledge of electromagnetic radiation and comparing the Electromagnetic Radiation Standards both home and aboard.Meanwhile,this paper also gives some suggestions on base station construction supervision and private protection of the base station respectively in the people-oriented and sustainable development era.
