By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various carbon dioxide separation methods,Pressure swing adsorption?PSA?is now widely used in industrial production because of its high degree of automation,simple operation,low cost,no corrosion and pollution.For the application background of refining and separating boiler flue gas in sugar refinery,this paper aims to adsorbing and recycling CO2 by PSA.The subject determines PSA as the method to separate CO2 from boiler flue gas in sugar refinery and analyzes the properties of commonly used adsorbent and chooses activated alumina and silica gel as adsorbent.It is a new technology application for sugar refinery by using PSA to purify CO2 from flue gas.This purified system consists of preprocessing,compressor and PSA three systems.The key of purification system design includes technology system,cycle timing,and control system of Pressure swing adsorption.The concentration and recovery rate of purified CO2 can be changed and controlled by operating the PSA system.This thesis analyzes the affect of changing cycle time on concentration and recovery rate of purified CO23 and points out that how to adjust operating parameters with the changing of flue gas flow to ensure the CO2 concentration unchanged.On the basis of application,the PSA process is simulated,and the simulation result is almost consistent with application results.It not only provides data reference for PSA system operation,but also lays a good foundation for the application and popularization of using PS A to purify CO2 from flue gas in sugar refinery.What the purpose of this system is to make purified CO2 be used in sulfite clarify process for carbonation,and transform purely sulfite clarify process to low-carbon and low-sulfur clarify process.The application result in sugar refinery shows that carbonated syrup purity was averagely increased by 0.91 AP,pH value was averagely reduced by 0.2,color value was averagely reduced by 93IU,the brix lowered 1.43Bx averagely,and the amount of residual sulfur was averagely reduced by 10.2 mg/kg.By using low-carbon and low-sulfur clarify method,the sugar quality is improved significantly compared with purely sulfite clarify process.Besides,it is easily to overcome the difficulty of handling silt.Further more;it coincides with the principal that the production activities of enterprise should coordinate with the environment,that is,the emissions reduction development policy.
