Ion mobility spectrometry(IMS)is a new technology of analysis and detection,which has been the hotspot among rapid screening technology.In this study,a rapid screening method for analyzing illicit antihypertensive,improving sleep and anti-fatigue drugs in Health Foods and traditional Chinese medicines has been developed with ESI-IMS.The main contents are included as follows:1.The status quo of adulteration drugs in Health Foods and traditional Chinese medicines as well as the endanger have been summarized.Meanwhile,the common analysis techniques for detection and screening of illegal drugs were discussed.The principle,structure diagram of ion mobility spectrometry and its pharmaceutical applications were introduced.The advantages of ESI-IMS in detection of chemicals had been discussed.2.A rapid screening method for seven antihypertensive drugs in health food and traditional Chinese medicines has been developed.The samples were extracted by ultrasound with 100%acetonitrile and then the supernatant was diluted by 90% acetonitrile.IMS detection parameters were optimized in the test.Under the optimal test conditions,5 drugs could be separated within20 ms in positive ion mode and 2 drugs could be separated within 12 ms in negative ion mode.Good linearities of seven compounds were obtained with this method and the detection limits of clonidine hydrochlorde,atenolol,nifedinpine,prasosin hydrochlorid,reserpine,captoril,hydrochlorothiazide were 0.25,0.50,0.40,1.00,2.00,1.00,2.00 mg/L.The recoveries were80.21%-113.13% with the relative standard deviations below 7.17%.The results were in accordance with LC-MS/MS.This study showed that the method is rapid,accurate and can be applied in detection of illegal drugs in antihypertensive products.3.A rapid screening method for five improving sleep drugs in health food and traditional Chinese medicines has been developed.The samples were extracted by ultrasound with 100%acetonitrile and then the supernatant was diluted by 90% acetonitrile.IMS detection parameters were optimized in the test.Under the optimal test conditions,5 drugs could be separated within12 ms in positive ion mode and 2 drugs could be separated within 13 ms in negative ion mode.Good linearities of five compounds were obtained with this method and the detection limits of diazepam,midazolam,barbiturates,nitrazepam,alprazolam were 0.20,0.50,2.00,8.00,8.00mg/L.The recoveries were 78.70%-113.80% with the relative standard deviations below 7.17%.The results were in accordance with LC-MS/MS.This study showed that the method is rapid,accurate and can be applied in detection of illegal drugs in improving sleep products.4.A rapid screening method for sildenafil,vardenafil and thioaildenafil in liquid anti-fatigue health food.The samples were extracted by ultrasound with 100% acetonitrile for 20 minutes and then the supernatant was diluted by 100% acetonitrile.IMS detection parameters were optimized in the test.Under the optimal test conditions,good linearities of three compounds were obtained with this method and the detection limits of sildenafil,vardenafil,thioaildenafil were 0.50,0.80,0.40 mg/L.The recoveries were 93.33%-121.17%.The relative standard deviations were below 10.00%.The results were in accordance with LC-MS/MS.This study showed that the method is rapid,accurate and can be applied in detection of illegal drugs in liquid anti-fatigue products.
