Designand Development Of Wastewater Treatment WebGIS Platform In Villages And Towns Of Dianchi Lake Basin

Dianchi Lake is the most polluted plateau lake in China,and it is one of the “three lakes and three rivers” that the country has regulated.After years of efforts,point source water pollution has been effectively controlled in the main city of Kunming on the northern shore of Dianchi Lake.However,rural non-point source pollution in Dianchi Lake has been increasing year by year.Rural non-point source pollution has become an important source of pollution in Dianchi Lake.The rural sewage treatment facilities in dianchi basin are distributed within the boundaries of the eight districts and two counties of Kunming.The facilities are widely spread and the space is dispersed.Most of the facilities are far away from the municipal pipe network.The transportation is inconvenient and the management is very difficult.It is urgent to apply GIS technology and WebGIS technology to scientifically manage and analyze a large amount of data generated in the process of construction,management and operation of the rural sewage treatment facilities will provide decision support for pollution control in Dianchi Lake.This article comprehensively applies the GIS,GPS and spatial database technology to design and develop the WebGIS platform of the village and township sewage treatment facilities in Dianchi Lake Basin,and realizes the visualization management of the village and town sewage treatment facilities in the Dianchi Lake Basin.The main work of the dissertation includes:(1)Analyze the current situation of sewage treatment in villages and towns in Dianchi Lake Basin and the problems in the management of sewage treatment facilities in villages and towns.(2)Research and analysis of related technologies and methods of GIS,focusing on WebGIS development technologies,spatial databases,and thematic map design and production methods.(3)Participate in the field collection and internal treatment of the spatial and attribute data of the sewage treatment facilities in the Dianchi Lake Basin.(4)Design and build a spatial database of sewage treatment facilities in the villages and towns of Dianchi Lake,and complete the data storage.(5)Developed a WebGIS platform for the wastewater treatment facilities of villages and towns in Dianchi Lake Basin.The platform has the functions of visual management,Information retrieval,drawing,printing,data online editing,thematic map production and so on.The platform has been actually applied to Kunming Municipal Construction and Management Department.(6)Based on the WebGIS platform,the thematic map of the sewage treatment facilities in the villages and towns of Dianchi Lake was designed and constructed.Thematic maps have been applied to the Dianchi Lake Basin Water Pollution Prevention Plan.
