Human change the present situation of the land cover on the earth's surface by using the natural resources related to the land.The contradiction between human and the land is quite sharp in karst area.The way of land utilization is not reasonable.These conditions will lead to soil erosion and bare rock.These phenomena cause or aggravate rocky desertification.The specifically spatial pattern of land cover and rocky desertification is formed.Southwest Guizhou is the typical area of rocky desertification in Guizhou.The rocky desertification is various types and widely distributed.The types of land cover are complex.According to these features,this paper relies on the Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System to access to the relationship between land cover and the rocky desertification.Bases on eCognition software as a platform at first,the paper processes the remote sensing image by using the method of object-oriented.According to the system standard of classification formulated by National S&T Infrastructure,it selects the optimal scale parameter to finish multi-scale segmentation and adopts the method of the nearby to extract 1:100000 scale of land cover in 2015 in southwest Guizhou province.The accuracy of land cover is evaluated by using the kappa coefficient and confusion matrix.Secondly,based on the GIS platform,the spatial analysis of GIS and transfer matrix algorithm are used to study the correlation of the spatial distribution of rocky desertification and land cover.Considering the land cover types of forest,grass and cultivated land in the rocky desertification is larger,this paper analyzes the spatial relationships of the three kinds of land cover and rocky desertification.The paper mainly discusses the spatial relations of typical land cover and rocky desertification by the buffer analysis of typical land cover.The analysis results of qualitative and quantitative provide scientific reference for the adjustment of the structure of agricultural industrial,the plan of land cover and the control of rocky desertification.
