Redwood furniture is an important part of Chinese furniture,but also the most representative of Chinese furniture characteristics of furniture schools,from ancient times to the present,mahogany furniture is a symbol of the pursuit of quality of life.In recent years,because of the characteristics of mahogany furniture,such as exquisite timber,elegant shape,rigorous structure and reasonable function,mahogany furniture is becoming more and more popular with consumers.The industry of mahogany furniture in China is beginning to warm up.Because of the limitations of mahogany furniture,the materials,styles and designs of furniture between different brands are very similar,and there is no significant difference in the eyes of consumers.In this market environment,brand VI design can play an important guiding role.A deeply rooted brand concept,a unique brand VI are likely to attract the attention of consumers,so that the public on the brand attention and memory.Through discussing how to use Ming furniture elements skillfully and reasonably in the brand VI design of mahogany furniture,this paper sums up the extraction methods of Ming furniture elements,and applies the theory to practice,and designs brand VI for Shangpin mahogany limited company.Firstly,the paper summarizes the internal and external characteristics of Ming-style furniture visual form.The external characteristics are analyzed and summarized from three aspects of "point","line" and "surface".The internal characteristics are summarized from the mortise-tenon interposition structure and the symbolic meaning of mortise-tenon.And according to the expert interview method selected a series of representative Ming furniture samples for specific analysis and induction.Secondly,the status of mahogany furniture VI is analyzed,and the existing problems and shortcomings at this stage are put forward.Finally,based on the core concept of the brand and the target group,combined with the above-mentioned summarized Ming-style furniture elements to designShangpingmu VI,determine the core elements,and in the office affairs system,public circulation products,identifier indicator system and advertising signs in the effect of display,and formulate a standard brand VI.The handbook.Through the analysis of Ming-style furniture elements in the red wood furniture VI design skills and elements induction,brand VI design of Shangpin red wood,not only from the perspective of professional practice to help us more comprehensive and in-depth study of Ming-style furniture elements visual performance,but also for artistic creators to use Ming-style furniture elements in V.The innovative performance in I design has opened up new ideas.
