| The craftsmen come in all directions,and ceramics are sold around the world.The hard work of numerous craftsmen for more than a thousand years has made Jingdezhen the Porcelain City.In the long ceramics-making history,they had left the later generations with both exquisite ceramics beyond comparison and the wisdom—the spirit of craftsmanship,which is precious spiritual wealth.The paper begins with the definition of ceramics workers and the spirit of craftsmanship,then analyzes and studies the production and living situation of ancient ceramics workers in Jingdezhen through four aspects: salary,workload,working hours,and working environment.In order to analyze the spirit of workmanship better,we have to understand its main body--craftsmen.Second,the paper explains the meaning of the spirit of craftsmanship from ceramics-making and living standards of ceramic workers.Third,the paper discusses about the four factors in shaping the spirit of ancient Jingdezhen ceramics workers—the natural environment,talent element,government management,dangerous factors.Last,the paper studies the historical value of the spirit of workmanship on Jingdezhen's development,the practical meaning on promoting the development of modern society,and the enlightenment on further excavating,inheriting,and publicizing the spirit of craftsmanship. |
