Graphene and graphene oxide are excellent in property,have good optical,electrical,and mechanical properties,and have great development prospects in energy,micro-nano processing and material science.With the development of energy sustainable development strategy,the related applications of graphene and graphene oxide have become a new research hotspot in recent scientific research work.The related applied research includes biomedicine,analysis and detection,modified polymerization,Photoelectrocatalysis and so on.Graphene oxide fibers also have certain development in the field of smart actuators,and the prepared actuators have a good application prospect in the biomedical field.For the study of graphene oxide fibers in the field of smart actuators,this paper uses chemical reduction methods to reduce the graphene oxide fibers to prepare moisture-responsive actuators that can bend and recover during humidity changes.The main findings are as follows:(1)Preparation of graphene oxide and graphene oxide fibers.Graphene oxide was prepared from graphite powders by modified Hummers method.The graphene oxides were characterized by AFM,SEM and XPS.The results showed that graphene oxide was successfully prepared.The graphene oxide fibers were prepared by a simple capillary device using wet spinning method.The prepared graphene oxide fibers had good flexibility,and the surface of the fibers was observed by scanning electron microscopy.The observations revealed that there were many voids inside the graphene oxide fibers.The coaxial capillary spinning experiments showed that the flow velocity of the inner and outer layers had a certain influence on the diameter of fiber.(2)Fabrication of partially reduced graphene oxide-polypyrrole fiber actuator.A PDMS microfluidic chip was fabricated for the construction of the hydrophilic region and the hydrophobic region.By a chemical reduction method,the graphene oxide fiber was reduced on one side by using a pyrrole monomer to form a partially reduced graphene oxide-polypyrrole fiber.The experimental results show that the chemical properties of the fiber side have been changed,and the partially-reduced graphene oxide-polypyrrole fiber actuator has a humidity response characteristic.The actuator can bend under a higher humidity condition and recovered under a lower humidity condition.
