Burnishing is an important metal surface treatment process.With the rapid development of the aluminum product industry,the metal dust generated during the processing of aluminum profiles has become increasingly prominent.Improper handling of metal dust may lead to safety accidents,environmental pollution and occupational health problems,and it may also cause serious economic loss and social harm.The dry dust removal techniques commonly used in polishing and dust removal have the disadvantages,such as high energy consumption,complicated dust collecting pipelines which would cause blockage,and also the risk of safe problems.Based on the wet dust removal technology,a new wet process system was developed,which integrated the efficient removal of polished dust and clean operation.The multi-phase flow numerical simulation and experimental research were carried out for the particle movement and dust removal process in the system.The specific work is developed as follows.1.Based on ANSYS-CFX software,the calculation platform of air flow simulation in the dust treatment system was set up to simulate the internal flow field.The influence of internal structure and inlet wind speed on the internal flow field was analyzed.The internal structure of the system was improved,and determined the key parameters such as air volume and inlet wind speed.2.The Eulerian-Lagrangian model was used to study the movement of atomized droplets and dust particles in the system,and the motion law of particles in the system was obtained.The results showed that the motion process of the dust with different particle size showed a great difference in the system,and the large particles with the particle size more than 10?m were removed by the water tank,and the small particles with the particle size less than 10?m were removed by spray.Based on the simulation and analysis of the multiphase flow of the dusting system,the main parameters of the spray system were determined.3.Based on the numerical simulation analysis,a new type of wet processing system was developed,and the performance of themodel machine was tested.The test results show that the system has good dust removal performance,which can not only provide operators with a good operating environment,but also meet the needs of safety production.The dust wet processing system developed in this paper achieves the safe and efficient removal of burnishing dust and provides an effective technical solution and equipment for the treatment of metal burnishing dust.
