Spray dust is a kind of dust reduction method which is widely used in all dust production link under the coal mine tunnel.Because of the high efficiency of dust removal mechanism makes the coal miners working environment greatly improved.But because of the spray pressure and wind speed in roadway,the real efficiency of spary dust reduction is lower than the ideal state. In order to improve the efficiency of the coal mine spray dust, and get an better environment and equipment parameters,experimental research and multiphase flow simulation which include gas-phase flow(air),liquid(droplets),solid phase(coal particle)was done for the coal mine spray dust.It is concluded that the changing law of dust reduction efficiency made by wind speed and spray pressure.The study of dust reduction efficiency has important theoretical significance and practical value.Particle track physical model was set up(discrete phase model),method was used in FLUENT with a grid based on SIMPLE numerical,the droplets field under different stress and dust field under different wind speed was simulated,it is concluded that the distribution of droplets and dust parameters, and the migration regularity of particle size,and it is concluded that a better spray pressure and wind parameters.Continuum model was set up at the same time(double fluid model),and use the eulerian multiphase flow model in FLUENT as the physical model.The numerical simulation was go ahead under the wind and pressure,obtained the wind speed and pressure parameters through optimization.At the same time,corresponding spray distribution,coal dust migration and spray dust reduction experiment was proceed in the Da Tong Yan Zi Shan dust simulation test platform.The same environment and equipment parameters which set in the numerical simulation was used, then collect the particle diameter,dust concentration and other experimental data.The experimental results was analyzed and compared with simulation test.Finally,a comprehensive analysis of the simulation and experimental results was presented.Further optimization of the spray dust settling method rules was given, and found the reasonable position of spray and other spray parameters.It provides certain theoretical guidance for spray dust reduction which was used in the actual production of coal mine.
