Aluminum alloy wheels were machined to produce residual burrs in the corresponding parts,which were usually removed by the hub manufacturer with a single grinding brush disk.The structural characteristics of the grinding brush disk made the outer ring speed of the brush disk faster than the inner ring speed of the brush disk.This will lead to overbrush and underbrush phenomenon.In view of the lack of deburring,a new type of aluminum alloy hub deburring brush disk based on planetary wheel structure was proposed.The main contents of this paper were as follows:(1)The structure parameters,production process and burr distribution of aluminum alloy hub were analyzed.The forming process of aluminum alloy hub burr was summarized,and the alloy hub burr and its fracture mode were classified.The deburring process of single grinding brush disk was analyzed and the mechanical model of wire deburring was established.(2)The effects of different cutting speed,different radius of burr root and different length of burr on burr fracture were studied.The most important factors affecting burr life were analyzed by orthogonal test,and the optimal deburring speed was determined.First of all,the initial force required for the burr deformation was determined,and the range of the burr removal force was determined according to the initial force.Then,the cutting speed corresponding to the removal force was calculated according to the collision theory.The relationship between the removal force and cutting speed was established.Secondly,the equivalent stress of burr deformation was calculated in ABAQUS.Thirdly,the calculation results in ABAQUS were introduced into Fe-safe for fatigue analysis,and the life cloud diagram of each group of burr models was obtained.Finally,according to the life cloud diagram of burr,the variation of burr fracture with cutting speed,radius of root circle and length of burr was obtained.The burr life chart summarizes the fracture location and fracture mode of the burr under different conditions and determines the optimal cutting speed of deburring.(3)Finally,the kinematic performance of the new type grinding brush disk was analyzed in detail.Firstly,according to the previous study,the factors affecting the surface quality of the hub were summarized,and then the deburring process was selected which was favorable to the surface quality of the hub,and the functional requirements of the new type of grinding brush disk were put forward in view of the shortcomings of the existing single grinding brush disk.According to the functional requirements of the new type of grinding brush disk,the structural characteristics and working principle of the new type of grinding brush disk were determined.To determine whether the grinding brush disk achieved the target function and the implementation of the situation.
