Having seen a rapidly increasing of the economy and expanding of the po pulation of the world in the last few years, the global environmental has become mo re and more terrible.Obviously, one of the most seriousenvironmental problems is the global climate change. In this age modern society, the low carbon label strategy has been widely promoted around the world. But there are no carbon footprintcertification s,carbon labeling products and also aplatform for drafting some rules about how to manage the industries which discharge heavy carbon dioxide in the air. This makes China lag behind the paceamong other foreign developing countriesin low-carbon de veloping so that the C hinese government and enterprises or other organizations shoul d actively integrate into the worldprocess of low-carbon management to develop low-carbon industrial products.Low-carbon development trend is imperativ e.This paper is based on the studies about the carbon footprint measurement and the willingness to pay for carbon footprint products between domestic and foreign.Use L ife C ycle Approach to determine the life cycle of rice and wheat, according to theca rbon emissions factor date of rice and wheat. Finally I calculate the carbon footprint of rice is 583.06 kg CO2eq/t,the carbon footprint of wheat is 504.96 kg CO2eq/t.The l argest part ofcarbon footprint of the rice is the irrigation process and the largest par t of carbon footprint of the wheat is the using of nitrogen fertilizer. When I doanque stionnaire survey on consumers' willingness to pay for CF in Beijing and Guangdong Province. In this process,I need to tell the carbon footprint of the rice and the wh eat. After that,I ask consumers about the willingness to pay for the carbon footprint of rice and wheat and list some hypothesis variables.Using the Stata13.0 to analyze the Chinese consumers' cognitive level ofcarbon footprint of agriculturalproducts, the s ources for consumer of getting the concepts of carbon footprint, carbon footprint cog nitive level among different consumer groups, and the awarenessof environmental protecting. It is found that there are differencesin willingness to paybetween different groups, but the differencesare not obviously, and the average consumer willingness to payofrice i s ?1.98 per kilogram, the average willingness to pay of wheat is ?1.96 pekilogram. In themean test and multi factor varianceanalyzing of different variables, whichincludesdi fferent factors such as gender, age, income, residence, occupation, education, the cognitive l evel of carbon footprint, eta. In the logistic regression analysis,we find a significantcor relation between the consumers' willingness to pay forthe carbon footprint and the co gnitive of carbon footprint or the awareness ofenvironmental protecting.we can also realize that women have higher willingness to payfor carbon footprint than men and the oldsare more willing to pay for the carbonfootprint than the young people. In th e last part of this thesis, according to thisabove conclusions,I suggest that Strengthenin g the education ofcarbon footprint on food, improving consumers' cognition of carbon footprint, changing theconsumption concepts and improving the ability of paying of young people, and promoting sustainable development of low carbon enterprises are much vital.
