The loss of product quality caused in the design stage was far greater than the loss of product quality caused in the production and manufacturing links,in order to reduce the quality loss of products fundamentally,it was necessary to find out the cause of product defects from the source of design.Therefore,robust design of product quality characteristics in the design stage was of great importance,it could make the enterprise faster and better improve the quality of the products,the cost of products could be reduced,the efficiency of operations could be effectively improved,market competition advantage could be strengthened.As one of the important quality characteristics of the design stage,the life span of the taps was mainly determined by the manufacturing process,and the obvious difference in the life of the taps could be led to by the different manufacturing processes.In order to improve the product quality effectively from the design source,this paper aimed at the robust design of quality characteristics,through response surface method(RSM)and multiple optimization process memory algorithm(MOA),taking the influence of deep cold technology on the life of taps as an example.First,the system factor analysis method(DEMATEL)was used to carry out the analysis and selection of the influence factors of the deep cold process parameters of taps,on the basis of selecting the cryogenic temperature and the heat preservation time as the key influencing factors,multiple quadratic regression equations was used to fit the function model between tap cooling temperature and holding time and tap life.Then with the help of earth-sized algorithm could through efficient communication and cooperation between different search yuan to search the global solution space characteristics,MOA intelligent method was used to solve the tap the optimal process parameters.Finally,the process and results of MOA intelligent method and RSM method were compared and analyzed.The research results show that the optimal process parameters combination can be accurately determined by the MOA intelligent method,the cost can be reduced and the time can be more effectively saved,thus,the adaptability,stability and superiority of MOA intelligent method in the robust design of the quality characteristics of taps are verified.This research was funded by the national natural fund project “study on the mechanism and manufacturing process of multi-quality characteristics of pick-type cutter”,project number: 5167052181.
