The tail rod is an important part of a new tank shell. It is a complex and heterogeneous part. The surface of it will form ablative oxide layer when machining by high speed wire cutting. Before the galvanizing treatment, the ablation oxide layer of wire cutting should be removed. The traditional polishing method for such complex parts is ineffective.Cannot adapt to the demand for volume production,The waste liquid produced by conventional chemical polishing will pollute the environmentElectrolyte-plasma polishing technology is a new type of polishing technology which combines plasma and electrochemical polishing technology.Compared with traditional polishing technology,it has the characteristics of no pollution, low energy consumption, high efficiency, easy operation and good quality. In order to solve this problem, the electrolyte-plasma polishing process of different type parts(Special shape)is studied in this paper. The aim is to find the best method and process parameters When the tail rod is polishing.and provide guidance for productionFirstly, the method of electrolyte-plasma polishing and traditional polishing are compared and analyzed, and the feasibility of using electrolyte-plasma polishing to remove oxide layer of different type parts is explored. It is verified by experiments that electrolyte-plasma polishing can be used for polishing the tail rod parts. The experiment of key factors such as polishing time, polishing voltage and polishing temperature are studied. The influence of key factors on the quality of electrolyte plasma polishing of tail rod parts is system analyzed. The best combination of technological parameters for the electrolyte-plasma polishing of the tail part is obtained. The surface residual stress and surface chemical composition were analyzed before and after polishing and the effect of electrolyte plasma polishing on the surface roughness and surface residual stress of the rod is definedThis paper has practical guiding significance for the application of electrolyte plasma polishing technology to special shaped parts or similar material surfaces.
