At present,flotation is the most effective method of phosphorus concentration.However,phosphate ore is crushed and grinded process before flotation,the useful minerals and gangue minerals are used to dissociation.In the flotation plant,the largest proportion of the equipment investment,production cost,power and steel consumption of crushing and milling operations.So the calculation selection and operation management of crushing and grinding equipmentis crucial.Reducing the energy consumption of the grinding process is one of the important problems in the world.Because of the grinding operation is mainly achieved by grinding medium,the most effective way to improve the grinding effect is from the grinding medium,the ratio of grinding medium,medium shape and material selection are decisive.Production practice has proved that section fine grinding operation of coll? ophanite,when the steel ball is used as a grinding medium,a grinding phenomenon is serious and uneven distribution of the product,affecting the subsequent index,high energy consumption.New type of short column type medium(hereinafter referred to as the steel section)applications in the field of metal is more,the used for collophane grinding,through the test study the optimum parameters of the grinding process,to ensure that the flotation index increase production at the same time,saving energy and reducing consumption.The two period of closed circuit process has used in anning 2 million tons/year flotation plant Yunnan phosphate company,when handling capacity of 138.64 t/h,compared with the original design is low,and the grade content of-0.025 mm is high,affect the flotation index.Therefore,the optimization of grinding process parameters in the flotation plant becomes the key to influence the economic and technical indicators.This paper aimed at the properties of anning phosphate ore in yunnan,proposing the test plan of grinding medium.The test of the original ball medium medium and new steel grinding effect contrast was carried out.The goal is to find the most suitable for peace phosphate rock period of grinding medium and grin? ding parameters,reducing energy consumption.The first part for laboratory research,the results showed:this kind of ore is more suitable to grindl by steel section,it not only the content of-0.074 ~ +0.038 mm increased and the content of-0.025 mm decreased,but also reduce the excessive grinding,and more favorable to flotation operation.Best grinding concentration is 60% ~ 65%,the best matching for steel segment of the medium(D * L/mm)35×40:30×35:25×30:20×25(the following code A,B,C,D)= 3 : 3 : 2 : 20.The second part is the industrial test.The results showed:When the properties of the ore are similar,the conclusion of the laboratory was applied to industrial production.The ?grinding medium is steel section,and the sampled analysis showed,the size distribution of the grinding product is more uniform,the quantity of-0.074 mm ~ + 0.038 mm is bigger,and the percentage of refined minerals increased by about 2.06 %,the recovery rate improve by about 1.45%,steel consumption reduced 10.48%,and reduce the noise pollution.It met the expectation.
