The Impact Of Multiple Pressures On The Availability Of Farmers’ Livelihood Assets In Key Ecological Functional Area’s

The main function of the key ecological function area is to provide stable and sustainable ecological services.As the basic unit to maintain its main function and the main economic activity subject in the area,farmers face natural,social,political and other multiple pressure.Their interaction not only enhances vulnerability of farmers’ livelihood,but also affects the main function in the area.At present,it is urgent to identify the impact of multiple pressure on farmers’ livelihood in order to find effective measures to reduce vulnerability of farmers’ livelihood.This paper is based on 549 questionnaires whose subjects are farmers from Yellow River water source areas of Gannan.After identifying the main livelihood pressure,the author uses the ordered Logistic regression model,explores the influence of living pressure’s interaction on livelihood assets availability and finally analyzes the key pressure influence on financial asset allocation.The results are as follows:(1)The main pressure faced by farmers in Yellow River water source areas of Gannan is natural disaster,family illness expenditure,children’s employment difficulty and housing construction expenditure,and “natural disaster + family illness expenditure + children’s employment difficulty” is the main pressure combination type faced by most farmers.There are differences among multiple pressures faced by farmers in different regions.Farmers face pressure from “nature and economy”,“nature and economy” and “economic and society” in prohibited development zones,restricted development zones and dot development town.The pressure of farmers in dot development town is more diverse than the other two.(2)Under the impact of multiple pressures,the variation of farmers’ social assets and natural assets in the water supply area of the Yellow River in gannan is the smallest and the largest.Among them,restoration control,key protected farmers in addition to social asset availability in a stable state,the rest of the availability of various kinds of assets are in lower,and the economic demonstration area of peasant household in addition to a financial asset availability changes with the social changes in the availability of capital in a stable state,the rest of the availability of various kinds of assets are in a lower situation.(3)Marriage high spending and agriculture and animal husbandry products prices fall,livestock disease and human and animal drinking water difficulties,children’s school fees + marriage high spending + farming product price + endowment security,building costs and the ecological policy,children respectively the interaction of the pressure of employment and agricultural plant diseases and insect pests on the natural changes in the availability of capital,material changes in the availability of capital,financial asset availability changes,social changes in the availability of capital,and human assets availability changes affect the strongest.(4)Under the influence of policy pressure,the expenditure on clothing,food and housing of rural households in spot-development cities expanded greatly,while other expenditures remained stable.Under the influence of high tuition fees for children,the biggest expansion trend of farmers’ consumption expenditure in forbidden development zone is culture and education,followed by human interest expenditure,while the shrinking trend is entertainment expenditure.
