Planning And Design Of City Wetlands Park Of Yellow River In Zhongmu Based On Ecological Restoration

The Yellow River Wetland is an important area rich in biodiversity in Henan Province.As one of the most representative river wetland,the Yellow River Wetland owns many species and various types of ecosystems,serving as a resting place,breeding ground and foraging area for migratory birds.Wetland park is an effective measure for the ecological restoration of wetlands,which also plays a significant role in reducing pollution,maintaining the balance of water resource and ecological system,improving climate condition.Zhongmu Yellow River City Wetland Park is located in the northeast corner of Langchenggang Town,Zhongmu County,bordering the Yellow River in the north and Kaifeng City in the east,this Wetland Park enjoys great ecological values.However,it has faced with such threats as degraded vegetation,reduced biodiversity,shrinking wetland areas and declining environmental quality.The paper firstly outlined the relevant theory of ecological restoration of wetland park in China and across the world,analyzed the successful cases of wetland park and summarized an effective ecological restoration method of Yellow River Wetland Park:(1)Adopt ecological restoration measures to optimize water system form,protect water quality and redesign the ecological bulkhead in light of the situation of ecological degeneration;(2)Ameliorate such problems as vegetation degeneration and biodiversity reduction through rational consideration of planting selection and planting community construction;(3)Build a living environment for birds to inhabit,breed and forage by establishing bird habitats and defining safety distance.Based on a detailed analysis of the natural resources and characteristics of Zhongmu Yellow River Wetland Park,this paper conducts a design project of ecological restoration for water systems,bulkheads,plant communities and bird habitats within the park using the principles of giving priority to protection and restoration,acting according to circumstances and pursing optimum utilization.There measures are designed to achieve a more stable ecosystem and diverse bird habitats within the wetland park.
