Preparation And Research Of Waterborne Epoxy Resin

With the development of economy and the improvement of living standard,people pay more and more attention to environmental protection and health.In the past two years,the state has promulgated a series of law and regulations to limit the emission and production of VOC.Epoxy resin has excellent salt-fog resistance and chemical stability,good insulation and adhesion special properties.Therefore,waterborne epoxy resin has become a hot spot in the current research and development.In this dissertation,epoxy resin system with self-emulsifying function was prepared by chemical modification of the chain breaking of hydrophilic chain of epoxy resin,then,the waterborne epoxy emulsion with high stability,small molecular size and uniform distribution was prepared by phase inversion technique.The experimental results show that bisphenol A epoxy resin E20 and polyethylene glycol PEG800,the pH value of emulsion is adjusted 7,the neutralization temperature is 50oC,the reaction temperature is controlled at 70oC,open loop reaction temperature of 25? for 2.5 hours and close loop reaction temperature of 70? for 2.5 hours,the molar of epoxy group to hydroxyl group is 1.5:1.0,the amount of emulsifier is 20%,the overall performance of the waterborne epoxy emulsion system is the best.The formulation of waterborne epoxy emulsion was also studied in this dissertation.The formulation was optimized by adjusting the amount of different additives and ratio of active hydrogen equivalent to epoxy equivalent.The AHEW:EEW is 0.8:1.0,addition amount of defoamer Tego-901w is 0.3%and the addition amount of wetting agent Tego-4100 is 0.3%,the prepared waterborne epoxy resin varnish has the best performance...
