Sizing agent is an important component applied in the production of glass fibers,and starch-based sizing agent is a sizing agent used in the production of glass fiber textiles.In the early stage of the fiberglass industry,some European countries and the United States introduced the starch sizing technology used in the cotton spinning industry to develop textile starch sizing agents for glass fiber textile production.After several decades of improvement on starch-based sizing agents,the technology has reached a high level.It is widely used in glass fiber production worldwide.Since 2000.,China's glass fiber industry has developed rapidly,and textile fiberglass yarns have also been vigorously developed.However,the starch-based sizing agent used in domestic kiln glass fiber production enterprises,whether the starch,main oil substances or formulas of the sizing agent,is imported from abroad.In this thesis,the domestic amylose and amylopectin were modified by Sichuan Glass Fiber Group Co.,Ltd.and a starch company of Henan Province(China).On this basis,the formulation and preparation procedure of starch based sizing agent with independent intellectual property rights were designed.The main innovation of this thesis is that only domestic chemical materials are used to design the sizing agent formulation system.Through the analysis and comparison of the properties of starch raw materials,?izing agent.,the as-prepared glass fiber and basalt fiber,the performance of the domestic starch based sizing agent can reach or even exceed the level of the imported starch based sizing agent.When the modified domestic starch based sizing agent is applied to the production of E glass fiber,the fracture strength of the obtained E glass fiber can reach 0.42 N/tex and the product qualification rate is 99.80%.When it is applied to the production of continuous basalt fiber,the fracture strength of the obtained basalt fibers can reach 0.52 N/tex and the product qualification rate can reach 99.5%.The results have important significance for breaking the long-term industrial monopoly of foreign technology and improving the comprehensive competitiveness of China's glass fiber enterprises.
