With the continuous development of land oil fields,the underground crude oil liquid level are continuously decreasing.In order to improve the oil field efficiency,the field company build more and more infill wells,so that well spacing is getting closer and closer.At the same time,considered the problem of the balance of the conventional beam pumping unit,a new type of double-well pumping unit based on rack and pinion is proposed.On the basis of the reversing mechanism of the pumping unit,we put forward double-well pumping unit based on rack and pinion.Furthermore,we design and analysis the selected pumping unit scheme.The paper mainly includes the following parts:First of all,we calculated the basic parameters of double-well pumping unit,which are the static load of the suspension point,the dynamic load of the suspension point and the balance of the pumping unit,we carried out the selection and design of the main components.We respectively build the three dimensional modeling by using three dimensional software.Finally we put every part together and finish design of the pumping unit by using the finite element software to static analysis of the main components of the rack-pinion.The results show that the contact stress and displacement deformation are in accordance with the requirements,and the safety is verified.The modal analysis of the rack mounting plate revealed that the designed rack mounting plate performed well and could be used safely.Secondly,we establish the kinematics model of pumping unit.MATLAB is used to analyze the influence of the number of teeth of the pinion and the strokes per minute on the kinematic performance of the pumping unit.We found that the more the number of teeth of the pinion gear or the larger the strokes per minute,the more the pumping unit moves during the commutation and the higher the acceleration during the pumping unit at start-up.The equivalent dynamics model of the pumping unit is established.The more the number of teeth of the pinion and the strokes per minute,the greater the net torque of the reducer's output shaft when the pumping unit starts and the more intense net torque of the reducer's output shaft in the reversing phase.Finally,the balance and energy consumption of double-well pumping unit based on rack and pinion and single-well pumping unit based on rack and pinion are analyzed.It is found that under the same working conditions,compared with the total power consumption of the machine that single-well pumping unit based on rack,the power consumption of double-well pumping unit based on rack is reduced by 33.41%,so that double-well pumping unit based on rack has better energy saving effect.According to the above research results,it can be seen that double-well pumping unit based on rack can be applied to the infill well field.In the appl-ication process,double-well pumping unit based on rack and pinion has good energy saving effect.
