With the expansion of steel structure construction,safety accidents occur frequently during the construction of steel structures.The diversification of steel structure forms and the complexity of the structure bring difficulties and challenges to the safety management of steel structure construction.The traditional steel structure construction safety management methods have certain defects,and can not fully guarantee the safety of steel structure construction.The emergence of BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology has provided a new direction for the safety management of steel structure construction.This paper combines BIM technology and steel structure construction safety management to study the safety management application of steel structure construction based on BIM technology.The main research is as follows:Firstly,the research status of steel structure construction safety management at home and abroad and the research status of BIM technology at home and abroad are expounded.The research status of steel structure construction safety management based on BIM technology is summarized.The common steel structure construction hoisting method,the basic theory of steel structure construction safety management and the characteristics of BIM technology are expounded.The safety problems in D engineering steel structure construction and the rationality of BIM technology in steel structure construction safety are analyzed.Secondly,on the basis of theoretical research,the application of BIM technology in steel structure construction safety is analyzed,and the application process and main application points are summarized.The application method of a series of BIM technologies,such as the establishment of a BIM model based on the actual engineering modeling standards,the construction of the project optimization,the construction simulation analysis,the safety technology disclosure and the collaborative security management based on the BIM platform.And the advantages and obstacles of BIM technology application in steel structure construction safety management.Finally,the method of BIM technology application in the safety management of steel structure construction will be applied in the safety management of D engineering steel structure construction.According to the analyzed safety issues,the construction line positioning,construction scheme optimization and safety are carried out.Technical analysis and construction simulation analysis.It also expands the application of BIM technology,realizes collaborative safety management through unified platform,verifies the application effect of steel structure construction safety management based on BIM technology,and ensures the safety of D engineering steel structure construction process.Effectively solve the construction safety problem of steel structure,and provide reference for the application of BIM technology in the safety management of steel structure construction,and also add a force to the promotion of BIM technology.
