Groundwater is a very important natural resource,it provides water for our industry, agriculture, people's life, some places and even their only water source. However, due to the continuous progress of petrochemical industry in recent years, groundwater resources have been polluted to a certain extent,if we do not pay attention to it,the pollution will become more and more serious. This paper takes a petrochemical in Mudanjiang as an example to carry on the research. The present hydrogeological conditions of the project area are collected and the conceptual and digital models of the project area are established with the help of the above data. The conceptual model and digital model are solved.Through the identification and validation of the model,he migration characteristics of the groundwater system in the project area can be understood. After the establishment of the model,in order to predict the underground oil pollution in the project area, three different situations can be set up,and the prevention and management scheme can be put forward at the same time.Through the establishment of the groundwater numerical simulation model and the water quality model, the conclusion is that under the condition of abnormal leakage, with the increase of time, the pollutants at the leakage point move downstream through the underground water diameter. The maximum diffusion distance of the pollutant(bounded by the limit)is 197 m after 100 days of leakage, and the maximum diffusion distance of the pollutant(bounded by the limit)is 439 m after 180 days of leakage. The maximum diffusion distance of the pollutant(bounded by the limit)is 706 m after 365 days of leakage. The groundwater tracking monitoring points of the project are located in the downstream direction of groundwater in the project area 50 m,the monitoring cycle is once a month, which can reflect the leakage phenomenon and take the corresponding measures to avoid the impact on the groundwater environment in other downstream areas.According to the on-site survey, the distance of the nearest residential area downstream of this project is 1260 m,and in the case of pollutant leakage, the maximum distance of pollutant migration in the monitoring cycle is far smaller than that of the nearest residential area. There will be no impact on the downstream groundwater source of drinking water. The hydrogeological conceptual model of aquifer, the numerical model of groundwater flow field and horizontal flow of solute transport are established and solved by Visaul Modflow software based on finite element theory. The high water season is selected as the initial flow field and the low water period is used to identify the flow field. After repeated adjustment of the parameters, the good fitting effect is achieved, and the model is verified. The environmental impact of groundwater flow field in simulated area is predicted and analyzed according to different exploitation scenarios. The transport law of pollutants in the diving layer, the pollution diffusion law and the range of pollutants in aquifer are predicted respectively.Get the contaminants into the diving layer. After 100 days,180 days and 365 days, the migration range and concentration of pollution halo were changed. After establishing the groundwater numerical simulation model and the water quality model,it is concluded that the concentration of pollutants in the aquifer is the highest at the leakage point under abnormal working conditions and under the condition of leakage, and that with the increase of time, the concentration of pollutants in the aquifer is the highest at the leakage point. The pollution halo diffused upstream and on both sides with time, and moved downstream along the direction of water flow, and the affected area increased continuously. The maximum diffusion distance of the pollutant(bounded by the limit)is 197 m after 100 days of leakage, and the maximum diffusion distance of the pollutant(bounded by the limit)is 439 m after the occurrence of the leak.Maximum spread of contaminants(bounded by limit limits)after 365 days of leakage The scattered distance is 706 m.The groundwater tracking monitoring point of the project is located in the downstream direction of underground water in the project area, and the monitoring cycle is once a quarter. It can monitor the leakage phenomenon and take the corresponding measures to avoid the influence on the groundwater environment in other downstream areas.According to the on-site survey, the distance of the nearest residential area downstream of this project is 1260 m,and in the case of pollutant leakage, the maximum distance of pollutant migration in the monitoring cycle is far smaller than that of the nearest residential area. There will be no impact on the downstream groundwater source of drinking water. From the point of view of the environmental impact of groundwater,it is concluded that the petroleum pollutants will not pollute the groundwater after taking strict measures of groundwater protection, which can achieve the purpose of this study.
