In this paper,liquefied wood(LW)from fir wood powder was used as precursor,and ethanol as solvent to synthesize LW electrospinning solutions by adding polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP)of two kinds of molecular weights.Then,parameters of various electrospinning solutions were detected and discussed,including molecular weights and content of PVP,as well as concentration of LW.Whereafter,electrospun fibers were prepared and their morphological characteristics were observed.Furthermore,correlativity between properties of spinning solutions and spinnability was analyzed.This study provided priorities of electrospinning solution made from liquefied wood.The main conclusions as follows:In the process of composite LW spinning solutions synthesis,with the increasing of both molecular weight and adding ratios of PVP,mixing time required to obtain homogeneous solution lengthened.Process parameters of electrospinning were obtained by test:the LW electrospinning solution was fed with a flow rate of 0.50?0.75 ml/h,the spinning voltage was varied from 16 to 18 kV and the optimum tip-to-collector distance was 150 mm.SEM analysis results show,morphologies of electrospun fibers were favorable as LW and 6%PVP(with a molecular weight of 1.3 X 106)/ethanol solution were mixed at a ratio of 1:1 by weight.However,resultant electrospun products gradually transformed into fibrous from bead droplets without meeting a satisfactory electrospun fibers,when PVP content increased from 6wt%to 18 wt%for PVP with a molecular weight of 10000.The properties of electrospinning solution including surface tension,electrical conductivity,viscosity and FTIR were investigated.The results showed that molecular weight or content of PVP had little effect on surface tension but was significant on conductivity and viscosity of spinning solutions.Besides,The content of LW was the main influence factor on the surface tension,conductivity and viscosity.FTIR analysis showed that there were no chemical bonds generating or breaking during synthesis process of electrospinning solution.However,a large number of hydrogen bonding formed between solvent and LW.
