At present,the research on the durability of fiber reinforced polymer is based on the measurement of the physical and mechanical properties of the fiber reinforced polymer after environmental aging as the evaluation index of durability,and the degradation law of the properties is reflected by the strength degradation model of the fiber reinforced polymer,so as to carry out the durability design.In order to realize the quantitative design of fiber reinforced polymer,the idea that the durability degradation can be expressed by the degree of corrosion is put forward.At present,there is no detection method based on the degree of corrosion in the testing methods of fiber reinforced polymer.In order to solve the above problems,a test method of solution corrosion degree of fiber reinforced polymer was proposed,and a corrosion depth model was established.Based on the corrosion depth model,the mechanical properties model was deduced.The corrosion degree test method can clearly and intuitively reflect the durability change of fiber reinforced polymer.The corrosion depth model and mechanical properties model can predict the durability of fiber reinforced polymer.In order to verify the oper ability of the corrosion degree test method and the accuracy of the corrosion depth model.Taking the corrosion of glass fiber polymer in alkali solution as an example,the aging test was carried out.The corrosion aging test of glass fiber polymer and glass fiber polymer in alkali solution was designed.The corrosion depth of glass fiber reinforced polymer(GFRP)specimens was tested for 30 days,90 days and 180 days.The tensile tests of 48 GFRP specimens were carried out in the non-failure test group and the failure test group,and the mechanical properties of the specimens were tested for 30 days,90 days and 180 days.Corrosion depth model and mechanical property model are validated.Combining corrosion depth test value and mechanical property test value,the accuracy of corrosion depth model and mechanical property model is better.Combining with existing research results,the applicability of mechanical property model is analyzed,and the calculated value of mechanical property model is in good agreement with the experimental value of existing research results.
